In UV method ,the formula used has been derived from 1/f=1/v+1/u......But it is the formula used for mirror not for lens...... Formula for lens will be uv/v-u . But you used +instead of - .. I am not able understand this situation . Please answer sir

Kindly check the formula for focal length for the lens. It is not correct. The formula shown here is of mirror.
