This talk was given at The Biomedical Basis of Elite Performance East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, UK 6-8 March 2016 8 March 2016 Session: Environmental impact on function, adaptation & performance during exercise
I'm surprised that there's no coverage on the three physical adaptations being the Endomorph's adaptation to cold, the Ectomorph's adaptation to hot and the Mesomorph's adaptations to competitive moderate temperature environments. But then scientists tend to miss the functional approach.
My daughter has cold urticaria, I believe it’s coming from her body treating one of the bodies responses as a threat. Likely a chemical that is released during epidermal Vasoconstriction. Can you help point me in what I should look for? (What chemicals are released when skin gets cold?). Thanks for any help
