I had to go back to watch the video. I've always strived to be someone who helps people and supports them, I don't always get it right but I nearly always try my best. My garage is a great place for people to pop in and learn how to service their own bikes so that they can either do it themselves or at least check that the work has been done. Thanks for your kind feedback. It's extremely helpful.
I've suffered with mental health before Charlie not nice experience robbed me of alot . I still suffer now but i dont let it get out of hand anymore. Worst thing you can do is close yourself away behind 4 walls which is what i did for a long time i had no social life lost friends the lot. Bike keeps me entertained now gets me out and meeting people.
I also suffered with anxiety and depression so understand what people go through. The focus on the bikes help me to not focus on my self to much. Helping others is so positive that it helps keep my mental health in check 90 percent of the time.
Charlie at last you got a chicken dinner 👍.... I'm shocked that a man who can it up himself hasn't got a hair drier 😆😆. Never done a vario belt but that didn't seem to much... thanks for the info. Ride steady and stay safe bud 🤘
also the nut that you said are known for coming loose, they are single use nuts and must be replaced at every belt change. check out scooterwest videos
Great Video and appeciate the sentiment about the difficulties people are experiencing and the value that RU-vid content providers have at the moment. . Was wondering what the ODO reading is - Isn't it something 12000 kms for belt and rollers and if any chance that belt was original or the second only belt in the scoots life and just driven into the ground. Motor / battery / starter / charge looking good.
Hi, it's actually got 50k on the clock I believe which for a little 2 stroke is amazing. I believe it had a new top end not long ago as I was told this. It won't be original belt or rollers that were on it as they would look terrible after 50k. I need to double check that, 50 k is massive. Could be 5k.
that is not an oil pump it's a weight, this is a four stroke, probably a leader engine. there are special tools for holding the drive pully gear in place called buzzetti tools. imagine if there was oil in the drive belt, the rubber would not grip anything. i could be wrong, but i dont think vespa made 2 strokes for a longggg time. and two strokes had gears.
I can't see what vid you are referring to Charles but yes if it's a 4 stroke then it dosnt have a oil feed pump in by the variator. I've also got variator holding tools although the gun works great mate.
If it's got a oil tank and sounds like it does it's definitely a two stroke. I had the 125 et4 that was definitely a four stroke and was considerably quieter 😂 good video
