Genau wie Du das am Anfang beschreibst, erzeuge ich leider zu oft meine piano-Stellen. Werde mich mehr drauf achten. Danke für das Hochladen des sehr interessanten Videos!
Do you have any tips on playing softly on pieces that are of a fast tempo? Ive been trying to practice the same piece on a slower tempo for a few days now but none of that softness translates back to when i play the fast tempo... basically the large, fast leaps i feel like dont give me enough time to press the keys slowly because i have to move my hand to the next notes almost immediately. (if youre interested, the piece is "Clock Tower Waltz" by dystopian tanuki. highly recommend!!)
Usually, as faster you play as less time you have to dive through the key. So although I would suggest practicing always to the bottom of the key slowly in order to increase stability and enhance reflexes, when you actually accelerate the speed - stay on top of the keys. But this technique works good only on good pianos. Even if you have good technique it won’t sound even enough on unvoiced acoustic or cheap e-pianos.
This is so helpful and explained beautifully thank you. I have a question on soft quick arpeggio's. Would you play at the surface of the keys for these and the control comes from the arm weight?
