From what I've understood, the corruption has already taken over Bun-Bun (Pibby's bunny friend) as something of a parasite, secretly corrupting everything it comes into contact with, but acting as if it was never affected, and then when the time comes, it'll all release itself in one massive wave, starting off the series or something like that. Pibby seems to be here by accident, probably the corruption's doing, glitching both Pibby and Bun-Bun into different worlds to start the full corruption process. And sadly, at the end, Pibby loses Bun-Bun and is left all alone until Adult Swim ends for the day and everything is returned to normal, with the corruption existing under the surface of all these host victim shows, ready to strike, ready to be released....

You know like this used to be so popular.I believe they were gonna make it a series,but then everyone like forgot about it,but over all I hope this is gonna became a series because it’s really good like I’m really hyped to see the full show!!

I had a really REALLY Scary nightmare about pibby except it corrupted real life but it didn't corrupt me and my mom, but the corruption worked differently. It was creepy

To be honest, I had never heard of Pibby prior to this airing. If I was there for the April Fools airing, I would be hella confused and freaked out, especially at the Morty glitch.
