Thanks so much for the 4th lesson. Much appreciated. At 3:01 I was able to get the rhythm counting 1&2&3&, then I was able to count without the &s.

You're very welcome. Actually, it could also be counted in triplets 1&a2&a, but I prefer counting in quavers 1&2&3& for whatever reason. Picado Lesson 5, coming very shortly, features the same back-and-forth string-crossing but accented differently and involving the left hand - and this time strictly in triplets. hello there ive been doing everything you said and im improving but one problem is that when i play the exercises a few times my right hand loses a bit of power and goes slow and i have to take a break is it a normal thing?
