Thank you for the update. 🙂👍 Marvellous to see so much going still going on. Seems much of the investors had anticipated the construction of HS2 when they planned their projects. There was always a caveat being the North. Promises are often broken on cost grounds, going back decades. Most recently as part of the "Northern Powerhouse" remember that!!!! the "Northern Hub" heavy-rail link was promised and the funding for it promised. Only one-fifth was built, the 'Ordsall Chord' and without the rest hardly sees any trains. If that wasn't enough the cancellation of HS2 was the final blow. Some upgrades, already passed, some not, might go ahead. When HS2 was in trouble, the original plan was from a station on this site, it would go underground to Mcr. Airport, the tunnel was scrapped for a cheaper viaduct also scrapped. Metrolink was to be re-routed. Presume that's been squashed. Happier news for you is that near your One Port Street the council have announced Ancoats Green near Jersey Street. If Mcr lacks anything it has always been green parks in the city centre. Unusually so for a major city. Mayfield Park bucked the trend so hopefully Ancoats Green will follow and attact wildlife back after two centuries. Also the Central Retail Park site is looking like things might be unlocked.
