Honestly, why didn't he just learn kaioken. His regenerative abilities would allow him to take it far beyond what goku has done with it.

That is a very interesting concept especially considering his regeneration seems to be dependent on ki to begin with. He has regenerated from just being a head in the Buu saga but has also been critically incapacitated from lesser wounds when his ki had been used up from long battles. An ability that burns your ki fast but also enhances your body would work very strangely for him. His regeneration seems to require concentration instead of being automatic like when he gets out of combat and can focus on instantly re-growing a limb.

@@wontkillu Goku doesn't lose an arm when he uses Kaioken... Regenerating limbs isn't the same as healing yourself. Why isn't Piccolo unbeatable if he could constantly heal himself? Kaioken would only make his pain tolerance worse than what it currently is, and no one thinks of Piccolo as particularly pain tolerant- which is the biggest drawback of Kaioken.

yeah, his regen is ki based. same with majin buu and cell. when we saw the universe 6 namekians that fused, they regenerated on a level far beyond piccolo because of the energy they had. still nothing compared to moro. if he had absorbed a revived king piccolo, he is noted be have enough ki and a strong enough of a power level to face off against super buu with neither capable of killing the other.

@@itsnottimetostop4462 As far as I can tell, Piccolo can and has regenerated from wounds that would be fatal to anyone that isn't Frieza, Android 16 or Majin Buu. Serious torso injuries will incapacitate him, but not kill him. If Piccolo can regenerate from being completely shattered below the neck, the Kaioken won't do anything to him he can't continuously shake off. Just to give some context, Piccolo regularly continues to fight after losing limbs. Vegeta, one of the most tenacious and durable characters in DBZ, was completely incapacitated after having his arms broken. Piccolo has survived getting blasted through the chest. Goku died when he received the same injury.

Namekian's have unique abities that could make it happen. I mean, what happened to the kind of potential unlocking that Guru did, multiplying himself, and Namekian fusion? And I mean, they seem to be a race that could tap into special powers. They're not as standard as humans. Their regenerative abilities and fusion alone are very useful. If one fusion with a decent warrior made Piccolo strong enough to kick second form Frieza's ass, there has to be a way that he could fuse enough to become fucking insane. If it was for a good cause I could see Piccolo fusing with warrior Namekians from other universes to achieve an amazing power. He might not like the idea, but I could see him being motivated enough to do it. And one last thing, when he fused with Kami he became stronger than a Super Saiyan. I know Kami was his other half, but maybe he doesn't just have to fuse with warrior Namekians to gain such power. I'm kind of just thinking outloud, but there are definitely ways to make him top tier. If Trunks got SSJ Rage, then Piccolo could be given something.

After Goku vs. Piccolo I was beginning to become absolutely a fan of Piccolo, man, him and Goku against Raditz was one of the coolest and toughest fights of all time. Piccolo also shined pretty well against Freezer, Cell and Android 17, after that he somewhat (sadly) irrelevant. Of course he trained Goten & Trunks and all, but... that's about it. I'd love to see him fight more, *win more*, not just be the mentor that is in the background or gets his ass handled.

I'd also like to see him use kami magic since magic in dragon ball is far more powerful than KI energy and telekinesis since it can do god like things like making someone immortal, being able to see the lower realm, conjuring things out of nothing mid air and being able to predict the future. I just wish Akira Toriyama found a way to make him relevant again. I mean -- he can have children right? Spitting eggs from his mouth like the elder? So have him create a bunch of them and train them. Then the merge into one super-namek. Then he merges with THEM. They might not do so willingly. They might oppose some great villain first. But even merging with Cell or an alternate timeline Piccolo would make him nearly unstoppable. He doesn't need to be a main character. He just has to be a badass.

During that time we had people asking the same question, toriyama cleared it up with he can only fuse with actual namekians, that rules out cell as he may have DNA but is NOT an actual namekian.

It's crazy how young he is, and yet how strong. Even just from training, not just fusions. He is essentially way stronger than any of the other fighters(including saiyans) when they were the same age and also training. Imagine how strong he'd be when he reaches goku and vegetas ages, or even roshi.

His combined age is a whole fucking lot. Remember that he isn't really the "son" of King Piccolo but really his reincarnation. He has all of his knowledge and memories. Plus Kami's, plus Nail's, plus whatever the being that was Kami+Piccolo before they separated had. Those are all years he as "lived". No wonder he's that smart. He's hundreds of years of knowledge in a body that's not even 20.

Considering the radical power boost he got from fusing with Kami only made Piccolo relevant for about two or three episodes before he became obsolete again, power with which he accomplished almost nothing, they would probably have to come up with something utterly ridiculous in order for him to be near their level again.

Piccolo is one of the original characters from DBZ that hasn’t been given enough attention. I was really hoping he would fuse with the “Combined Namekians” of Universe 6 to join forces in the Universal Tournament. That would’ve given him a power boost of astronomical proportions! Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Goten, and Uub should be the main focus going forward.

Now that I think about it, Piccollo has the potential to unlock ultra instinct. He inherited all knowledge and wisdom from kami when they fused (a mortal who has gained the rank to be among the divine as guardian of earth) and he is in top spiritual shape thanks to all his meditation.

Gotta say, Piccolo gained a major power boost when he fused with Kami, about 610 million to be exact. Though by that logic, Kami could have dealt with Frieza in his fourth and final form (Because SSJ Goku at that time he faced Frieza had a power level of 150 million). The only issue is that Kami's power level was at 400 in the Tree of Might movie, so I may be missing something unless the fusing technique does more than just add two powerful Namekians together.

Piccolo has a confirmed power level of 5 billion in the cell saga, a power level of 7.5 billion as both confirmed by akira toriyama. 10 billion by the time battle of gods comes around, 30 billion when frieza and his men come around, considering at this point he has been training more than every as again confirmed by the writers in interviews, and all we know for the universe six vs seven arc, he falls between goku’s super sayian three and super sayain god. Goku black arc he is the same way. And the tournament of power and broke movie he is between god goku and super sayain blue. As confirmed by the screenplay writers of the broke movie.

Because Namekians can create dragonballs, in essence all-powerful wish granting dragons, they could have a cool ability to reach God or Ultra Instinct level of Namekian if they could fuse with a Dragon. Be it earth Shenron, Porunga or Super Shenron from DBS.
