@@playdiscgolf1546 I like Trumps policies and his bluntness to speak what's on his mind! He isn't perfect whatsoever but compared to Crooked Joe he's a saint! People who believe Trump is a evil racist dictator are obviously brainwashed and indoctrinated to hate the 1 man that's trying to actually make America great again.. for EVERYONE! Your feelings towards Trumps personality is insignificant when the country/world is on fire 🔥 🌎
Larry Elder is one of the smartest and honest voices in media. I was happy to see him run for POTUS and hate that he got railroaded. This interview is months old. Why is it just out now? Most of this discussion is now irrelevant, especially based on Mike's current views.
@@angryroy6277A LOT of people change their views when they realize they've been brainwashed and indoctrinated to believe lies.. sure.. we're open minded enough to change our minds.. unlike unhinged leftwing nut jobs who hate Trump so much they can taste it
Remember that white girl in a monkey mask, throwing liquid on him? If that would had been done to a black Democrat, the media would still be talking about it.
I'm a leftie and I have an extreme level of RESPECT for Larry Elder! I first saw him on PBS around 15 years ago and I always turn to his message when I want to hear a level and clear-headed opposite viewpoint. He is a treasure to this country and his patience in political commentary is unmatched.
I disagree politically with Michael, this was a great conversation though. I really enjoyed that Rappaport was civil and didn’t turn this into a perpetual debate and d*ck measuring contest on ethics and morality of each others political views. Rappaport was asking great questions and actually listened unlike a lot of his constituents that get guest like Elder.
Eh, don't be fooled. This is a hail mary from a leftist to get more views. You'll notice that it did exactly that. Rapaport doesn't get views like this. He's falling into the Chris Cuomo mentality in attempting to act like a centrist to become relevant again. Completely assuming that we all don't know his past views and rants. All while failing to admit he was wrong about anything. He still can't say a decent thing about a Republican. He still can't admit that Trump had some things right. Let's be honest, if Elder ran for president, he'd be the first one out there claiming he's an Uncle Tom racist that hates, blacks, latinos, women, gays, etc.
Rapaport is so close to crossing over. Not because he’s an uptight conservative, but because he has common sense. A little intense at times, but in the end, common sense all the same. It’s basically what it’s boiling down to anyway. Upside down VS right side up. Period.
Unfortunately like him and many others. It takes them or their family to be affected , hurt or experience the effect of the Democrat policies. Because they're so blinded by the emotion and hate. They think they're on the right side and they don't mind supporting policies or agendas. Because it doesn't affect them. When Michael and many others experience the effects they realize the negative consequences negative consequences fully aware of the consequences of the b******* on the left. But whether it's their ego were their financial positioning. They think it won't affect them. Or in some situations they support this b******* until it hits home. Then all of a sudden it is f***** up or unacceptable.
Once he can be convinced he is making political decisions based upon how he feels or out of emotion and not out of logic he will change. He must first understand that many times the right choice for the best long term outcomes always comes out of logical thinking and not out of emotional reaction. Emotional reactionary thinking always leads to short term solutions that later develop long term problems. His other big issue is getting him to understand “responsibility for actions” in terms of individualism.
I agree, but he's open to the conversation and that's admirable. Mt dad is a lefty that drank the MSNBC coolaid... what's funny, he's he doesn't like gay stuff lol.... he's doesn't even know about being canceled or what the fuk is going on and when I try, he won't even LISTEN!!!
@@brianmeen2158yes, he has voiced his disagreements at times but to me it seems that he only really started standing up after he realized just how much the left dislikes his pe✡️ple.
Larry is one of the realest people in America, & states only facts & truths about every subject he talks about. He's leagues above anybody in politics, plus he can prove everything he talks about. I'd vote for him for President over anyone else, Trump should have Larry as his VP!
Michae showed how honest he can be in a discussion which is rare these days. I appreciate him truly for this. Larry came with the business today and it's great.
I'm here from other places. But rappaport deserves the upmost support and respect. He deserves love and gratitude. Us alert and aware people have stressed and feared the stupidity 9f the left not being able to wake up for nearly a decade now. Rappaport has been the definition of leftard stupidity l; but he is waking up. We must champion and support his red Pilling and cradle him like an ember of fire in a cave starved of flame.
What has always surprised me about you Michael is that you are as forthright, forthcoming, and bombastic as Trump!! A true New Yorker!! Yet you’ve never understood why he fought back against the media. 🤷🏽♀️. I respect you tremendously for saying what you’re observing. I don’t need to agree with you on everything, but I respect you.
Great conversation. im a conservative, would never be here if it wasnt for Larry. But this is what is all about. not race based. but political point of views. great!
@@brianmeen2158I've listened to Larry since the 1990s, and he often stammers & stutters, but I don't think it's due to nervousness. I've noticed that it happens more frequently when he gets excited or his mind is probably working so fast that his mouth has trouble keeping up.
Say what you want about Rapport. #1 he did True Romance. So instant national treasure. #2 he's a guy that can change his mind based on evidence and experience. That's rare these days. #3 he's a loyal New Yorker and a loyal American. Let him red pill at his own pace, in his own way, on his own timeline.
Rap no matter how much you bear up on Trump or any way you vote …..conservatives still love you brother because you love the country and that’s all I can ask for
Gotta give Rapaport credit for crossing the tribal lines and having conversation with those who don’t agree with him. That is what’s been lost in America
Larry is so freaking smart and i appreciate you having him on your channel!!! I know you’re not Republican but keep inviting republicans in your show brother!!!
They cant hear what Larry has to say because he is like the abyss. if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. He forces people to look into the mirror and admit there are things which we can control and change yet don’t. We as a black community prefer to think this is all beyond our control , i have failed not because of me and my choices but instead because of some mythical boogeyman has oppressed me . “The most terrible lies are the ones we tell ourselves.”
▶️ *Michael,* *I loved EVERY MINUTE of this.* PLEASE do more! Such a NECESSARY conversation to cut through the BS and GASLIGHTING pervasive with the current media. Would love to see Larry's colleague, Dennis Prager, on your show sometime! 👍🏻 Lots of great info, history and data to keep PERSPECTIVE and make MORE INFORMED decisions.
Michael, I mean this from the bottom of my heart - as a conservative, it means a great deal that you invited the great Larry Elder on your first show, and though you disagreed with him on some things, instead of getting angry you kept it playful like two friends at a barber shop. Conversation like that was a thing of the past. You have really shown growth as a person this past year with your ability to communicate with those you see things differently and have done so in a professional and dignified way without losing your sense of humor and what makes you likeable. Thank you for giving Larry the time he so deserved, and thank you for your efforts to understand more of our views and voices. Subscribed.
Michael and Larry, thank y’all for having a respectful and civil dialogue DESPITE differences. Period, end of story. Rest of country, take notes on these two ❤️
I do have to say, was blown away with how you handled this interview. For how much you hate Trump for his mouth, most of the time yours is much worse. Im a conservative and I’m impressed with how fair you were, and you actually seem to care what Larry was saying. You’re different than most leftist, it’s refreshing to see.
As far as abortion goes for rape.. abortion for rape occurs less than 1% and another point if you took an ultrasound of 2 pregnancy 1 rape could you tell which one is which? The answer is no they’re both babies
I respect that you have chosen a middle ground where you go after the things you disagree with and bring anyone on. This is exactly what the country needs…debate rather than using fear and lies. I’m conservative, but do not call myself Republican. I’m against establishment and the lies and tricks. We have incorrectly been called every name in the book, not true. Unless we get back to debate, real conversation where one side isn’t supposed to hate the other…we are doomed to fail like every major power before us. Thank you.
MR…should have done this years ago. You are so built for entertaining and informative podcast. LFG 🙏💪💪💪 Ohhh and thank you for being a FREEDOM FIGHTER. TRUMP 2024
This is probably the show recorded that made Rap choose Trump. It’s ok, Mike. We prefer actions over feelings, and Trump checks each box this election--border, peace, amazing economy, low inflation, more 🇺🇸made products= more jobs and quality products, self sufficiency, his economic tide raised ALL boats, from dingys to yachts. What’s wrong with that? 🤷🏻♀️
Have to give Rapaport Credit for Trying to find the Truth. you can Tell he cares deeply about this country and I have Much Respect for you Rapaport for hearing the other side...
i respect Larry Elder so much, his knowledge of what the democratic party has done to black people is so powerfully truthful and eye opening, it blows my mind how anyone can even debate it and how black people themselves dont realize it or cannot accept it
You know what the reason that the Republican party did not want him is, because we do not get enough how do you spell exposure to him. He definitely needs to get to speak more. He is a level-headed statistical genius. And I think that is undervalued in a party of people who take statistical facts and use them in all of their arguments. Because one thing that the last eight years have shown us; facts don't care about your feelings. And when it comes to creating a more perfect union we need facts.
This was a great discussion! Rappaport is honest and calls it the way he sees it and will challenge guests. we both have many of the same lingering questions about our govt and society
Thanks for interviewing Larry Elder. We need more debates like this. It really helps unite people. Mr Elder is an encyclopaedia of historical facts & data. He can back up his views better than anyone. I can see change. Thanks Michael even you have changed. We need to listen to each other more even if we don’t always agree. 👏👏👏
Officer Tatum did a reacts to this so I came to listen I like Larry elder Micheal funny humorous but he needs to stop selling the bs and stop being coward with his politics hopefully if he’s doing this he does finally pick a side and let America know bc we all know
It’s all really so simple. Larry is a real man. He loves his family. He beefed with his father for a decade and though that beef, he learned all his dad ever wanted him to know and understand. That story has become Larry’s driving force.
