Whole Hybridoma cell colonies are aspirated (picked) and isolated from semi-solid media using Pickolo on a Tecan EVO platform.
Each colony is identified by the Pickolo camera system, aspirated and dispensed into liquid media.
Hybridoma colonies are small and gentle and require high accuracy in picking and careful liquid handling to isolate.
Pickolo on the Tecan platform is a flexible, fast, accurate and robust solution to colony picking and can be seamlessly integrated into various cloning and optimization workflows in mammalian cells.
