Hi Friends!
In this video I talk about my experience with the BRINLY-HARDY 15 gallon tow behind sprayer. I perform both a DEMO and REVIEW of this recently purchased model. This has been the perfect sprayer for our 3 acres of land. ASSEMBLY was fairly easy and so far I've been impressed with the overall capability and durability of the sprayer, especially with my bumpy and hilly land.

Yes it's great thx. We also purchased the aerator/seeder combo. Very pleased thus far with both!

Perfect! Thanks for taking the time to describe the assembly process. I, too, have roughly 3 acres to tend to with a sprayer. I wonder if you could use a drop of Loctite on those two nuts that occasionally shake loose? I subscribed to your channel. I like the way you explained everything plainly.

The manual suggests 5mph - looked like you were screaming along pretty good. That may have to do with the trailer bouncing around. I've found slowing down on my TroyBilt at 4-5 and I eliminate quite a bit of the irregular terrain. I spray a small side pasture with this with no problems. It's a great little sprayer for liquid fertilizers, fruit/veg foliar spray as well as insecticides, lawn insecticide and each spring Amino 2,4 D herbicide. So it's a good all around yard/garden sprayer. I also have the Brinley Hardy drop seeder with spike aerator. I like their products, quality components, easy assemble and long lasting (if you take care of them as you noted, empty the spray tank after use and rise).

Yes the land out here is pretty bumpy and hilly. I had my wife walk beside it with no more than a brisk walk to help me judge the speed when I first started. So happy to hear you're having success with the Brinley products! I also bought the aerator/seeder combo which has been great so far... You mention 2,4D... I just did a video over this product. I was amazed by the results I received from it. My before and after was amazing to me... My wife and I are new to using these types of equipment and living in the country period so thank you for the comments!

At the time tried the 24d. This year didn't have to spray anything

Just curious the coverage you get with the 15 gallon. Are you able to spray all 3 acres with one tank or do you fill multiple times?
@countryprideliving

Great question. It does take me a couple tanks going a moderate speed. I just wasn't willing to pay at the time the price hike to go with the next bigger tier.

@@countryprideliving Ok, thanks for responding. Are you able to control the spray rate accurately to match a product's spread rate? Also, do you have a good reference for someone who wants to start out such as a detailed how-to guide or forum?
@countryprideliving
@countryprideliving Год назад
@Keyholeify you're welcome... This model sprayer doesn't have many setting adjustments unlike the aerator seeder combo I bought. The best I could offer you would be to control the product spread with the speed of your tractor. If it's something that you want to saturate then maintaining a slower speed would be optimal. If it's something that you need to lightly spread I'd say keep the tractor at a good pace maybe near 4 to 5 mph. Sometimes product instructions will include this information as well. I believe the Sprayer instructions have information on this as well. Good question on the how-to-guide..My wife and I have just started a blog to go along with this channel. I'm actually in the midst of putting together some of these guides. I'll ping you on here when complete or you can visit the blog and get notifications. T www.escapefromcitylife.com Take care.

DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR CUB CADET XT1 AND YOUR BRINLY TOW SPRAYER?
@countryprideliving
@countryprideliving Год назад
Yes! I still have the XT1 50 inch deck and yes on the sprayer. I read a lot of bad reviews about other sprayers but so far very impressed with the BRINLY. I also went with BRINLY for my aerator/seeder combo. Video in link. Thx for watching. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ABMXL6CYkYk.html
