these videos really have me torn. on one hand theyre super helpful in learning the small details of the game, but on the other hand they basically promote the main problem this game has... smurfing. sucks that five dudes basically had no chance because they had a 9k in their 3k game.

I feel like a huge factor in these games is the fact that 1. Your macro understanding of the game is really good 2. You remain calm no matter what, 4 heroes in your lane, it's fine. You die, it's fine. The lovely thing about the lower ranked games is if you remain calm, and stick to a game plan, you can win more often than not, or atleast thats what ive found over the last few months. Also getting a teammate back from tilt is a huge huge win

PA Warlock is my favorite subtle combo. Overkill damage fully applies with fatal bonds so if you end up critting when creeps are low hp it still does heavy damage.

I love this type of smurf series more. You aren't owning from min 1 & giving people a chance to get stronger. This is beautiful.

1st time watching a bsj vid unironically. I'm a 6k pos 4/2 player his patience in farming and waiting for creepwaves while blurred are impossible for me to even fathom cuz i wanna fight every minute.. Really educational and relaxing few dota players does a relaxing content.

You can do anything to your teammates using their portrait :P quite useful when you have illu heroes like pl on your team and u wanna forcestaff or veil the real one amidst his illusions

BSJ, it seems like the creeps respond INSTANTLY when you A-click an enemy hero. For me, the only react when I'm a certain distance away. I often have to get to close and then they get right clicks on me. What's the difference?

As a Guardian it feels weird knowing that smurfing still happens at this mmr.

"PA doesnt usually build manta and they have a silencer, thusly this is a bad matchup". Completely ignoring the fact that the enemy team has literally 4 right click heroes, only 2 stuns total (one of those being a channeled stun with a several minute CD), and literally no catch for if you just blink away... top tier analysis from a 9k who didn't know you were able to capture your own outposts back.

I think something needs to be said about bf components. I feel like in some games its good to go for the perseverance stuff first, but in others its better to get the dmg ones. Like in lanes where they just don't do much damage or are very passive I would probably go dmg over ring. IDK just a thought. Love the video BSJ!

The point is playing with low-rank player is tough because they panic and wants to rush things. My MMR is 9400 but when I played my brother's account, it was on a different level. Naga is a foolproof carry. I got a bad start cuz as you know, pos 5 roaming. You don't see that in the Immortal tier. And when I jungle, they always ping to teamfight and when I ignored and keep on farming, they blame and shit. They always panic. But as soon as I got manta and orchid, I started to make play and when that happened, they want me to push and end the game even tho I couldn't take hit yet. They always rush things. I'm like "geez! relax bro. I can win for you, just don't die." Naga can split push, cut wave, start teamfight and dodge teamfight. It's a foolproof carry in low rank but sadly, some kids don't even bother spend 10 mins to watch tutorials on micro control illusion, hence you rarely see this hero in low rank.

playing on legend rank is amazing. every 2nd game you get completely stomped by a lvl25 dota account. and the next game you get carried by a lvl25 dota account. Smurfs everywhere, don't even know why i'm losing or winning.

If it weren't for the need for armor in this game is it more conventional to go 1 wraith band into orb of corrosion? That's usually my go-to item for winning my lane as a PA.

Do you have examples of what other heroes would be bad against their team? And do you have recommendations of good heroes against their team?

When you use manta for farming/pushing purposes, should you tread switch for the mana or stick on agi for the damage?

Great video, BJS. Question: I don't fully understand why manta is better than bkb in this match up. Is it based on the fact that the opponents don't have much aoe, so that the illusions are not likely to be clear in a timely manner? I can also see that bkb cannot prevent bane ult, which is another factor supporting manta. Wanted to make sure that I understand what's the main reason and if there is any other reason.

Don't forget, your armor talent attacks with manta illusions

ok i didnt understand the logic behind the bf (didnt watch the all video yet) if the goal of the ennemie team is to pressure and push early doesn't bf just exacerbate this problem since not only will you be weak when they ll be strong by nature of pa, but also because you will have basically no items for the first 20 min of the game? wouldn't a more early fighting build be better to sustain early pressure, and then just use the fact that pa deals tonnes of dmg late game as scaling? if ennemie game plan works (which should since as you said, none of your hero stop them to doing it), haven't you already lost by the time you get your bf (exept if ennemies suck enough for you to go late game)?
