I am picking up a Humvee from Govplanet's Yermo California yard.
They have a new policy of not loading your vehicle with their forklift if the purchased vehicle is a "runner" . In the past that was their preferred way of getting you loaded. The only problem is that the Humvee is too wide for me to drive up onto my trailer, Stupid New Policy.
I ended up talking them into loading for me.
Food was from Eddie World best food for 50 miles.

I should be getting started on it in a couple weeks. It runs good, it actually had new batteries in it when I picked it up

I picked my m1123 in Yermo in 2022. Mine was also reconditioned. The military painted, or maybe CARC, all the info on the passenger side of the hood.

I used to live out there. We only had the quick shop by the post office and the elementary school. Then it was a major upgrade when I moved to barstow. Now it’s been years since I been to that side of the country. Lol I resurrected my armasafe batteries. I think they expired in 2012 but still running strong.

The only way to get plates on one in Calif. is if you have a friend at the DMV. They haven’t been registering them for a long time but if it is already registered they will continue to renew it. The best way is to find one that is already registered here. You can also register it out of state through dirtlegal.com but you run the chance of a CHP catching you. But I can help you pick out a good one if you want.

I registered mine in Utah because the scumbags in Ca won’t let us. The early ones were able to get plates, but they have stopped that now. I do know a guy who knows someone at a DMV and he somehow got his registered, if you want to register in Utah I can give you the info for the company that does it.

I tried that but they registered it as a motorcycle so I had to go to Utah to get it registered as a Humvee again

This one was around $14,000 plus tax and auction fees

In Calif it is around 8.75% but if you are in a different state that charges sales tax, I believe they will let you pay your states sales tax. They also sell these in Georgia if that is closer. GovPlanet also charges a buyer’s premium (fee) which varies per auction, it is listed on the web page for each auction
