I am glad Sheila has a since of humor my mom is OCD about her pocket book and her money if she doesn't have a $100 she is ready to go to the bank and she counts it all day.
My uncle used to talk like that to my grandmother in her dementia. She didn't like it. She wouldn't remember he'd done it (.but she held on to impressions) but we noticed that for days afterwards she would forget she had five kids. She had four and his was the name that was missing from the list.
Grandma is still on top of it with her money, that's right Grandma you still in your right mind, you tell them. You might not be as strong but you still in your right mind. Way to go 105.💝💝💝

Sheila rocks, its called making sure sound decisions are made as a caretaker. Not sure if you all are aware but it costs about 10k a month the be in a nursing home. Medicare does not pay. It costs a fortune for elderly care that is self pay. Granddaughter telling the truth about how Gramma has more than she does with 25 cash. Sheila and Frank keep it light. That's hard. 🙏

I could watch Gramma all day. Shelia & Frank Alan take good care of her & I know It's hard. But don't forget Gramma is feeling a loss of control as her body changes. To have some cash to get a manicure or treat a great grand child gives her a sense of control. Also, you have the audience to earn $200 k a year. Others with your numbers support their families well and spouses quit their jobs. If you are tight with money, just film G&G doing anything for an hour a week. Split it into 5 segments and you have more money than you know what to do with. We need more videos.

I have one request ... rather than pepper Gramma with questions bang/bang/bang, please give her a chance to respond before you re-ask or re-state the questions. The synapses of centenarians operate more slowly than younger folks, they need a moment to process the question or statement before they respond.

You can't tell me that Ginga went from a terrible car accident, to living, surviving and thriving back to Sheila's then suddenly just before her 100th birthday her "family" comes and takes her. Frank himself has written a comment on the WBOY Facebook website about her condition.

So many people are asking where Ginga is. Well in very little time with Sheila and Frank after Ginga came back from the hospital miraculously recovering from that car accident, Ginga was doing beautifully. Then taken from them by her "family". Just like that BOOM!! I love Ginga's happy personality but I loooooovveeee listening to grandma's stories. She sure is a toughie after being treated like an outcast by her MIL. I've noticed that she's a bit stern when she's chatting with Ginga but that's how siblings are. You don't say I love you to your sibling and you talk as if you're about to kill each other but deep inside is a deep love and care for each other. I've also noticed that although she's like an ice queen, her sweetness, generosity and soft heart shows.
Still talking about she dont have money. Shelia, she said you need to give her money. She said you had it all. She wants 100 to put in her pocket. Lol. Shelia, didnt Frank tell you this in the car last time ? Give her her money before she has another fit. Old folks dont forget If they go to bed it is last on their mind, they wake up with it. I remember my mom at 90, right before she passed. Last thing on her mind was making sure she had money so she could do whatever she wanted, before she went. Of course we did for her but it is like the last bit of independence. And they dont want to go without a dime on them.

What I love about Frank and Sheila (well... I love EVERYTHING about Frank 😉) is that guilty people would argue with her accusations... these beautiful people egg her on to keep her going, knowing everything they do is in her best interest, until reassuring her that all is as it should be. I think Gramma, like me, is entertained by griping and complaining 😊 She may be too tired to stand, but she's never too tired to complain 😁
She celebrated her birthday and was on the local news. Check out the link I've posted here. We don't know her family on a personal level so to say that they've been difficult is a bit too much. From what I've read somewhere, she's got dementia. People with dementia can be difficult and are set on their ways. Her unruly hair and untidy look could be as a result of her refusing to cooperate. Based on what I've observed, her family gave her the freedom and independence to move around. She drove at 99 and was shopping things like cookies for grandma. That means that she was handling her finances herself.
Give gramma some money! If it makes her happy that’s all that matters and she’s upset about it. She’s mentioned it in the last several videos. It can’t be good for someone her age to be upset. Love you Gramma! Prayers to Ginga!

Its not even much money these days. If i was from her family. I would just give it to her because i would want her happy! She needs to know where her money is going too. _ anon _ That might be the case but I really doubt Gramma would allow that happen. Can you see that scene? Gramma could call them out and school them to put them in their place. Someone is always with Gramma when she's out. She can carry as much cash in her purse as she would like and she would be fine. I would not be as concerned about that money as I would about Gramma's happiness anyway. What's the cost if we imagine the worst about the cash? Then that cash is the price of her happiness, and she is definitely worth a couple of hundred dollars. If it was my gramma, I would let her carry as much as would make her happy in her purse. This wonderful lady is so worth it. She is almost 105. Every day is a celebration. Give her anything her heart desires. Each moment is a blessed gift.
I get the its just a little money, she has a aide, etc but to the wrong person $100 is alot and they wont hesitate to hurt Gramma or her Aide to get the $$. Gramma's cussin is nothing matched against a knife or gun. Or yeah she has a aide around 24/7 but even those we think are the best can pilfer $$ bit by bit. Gramma went from independent to fully relying on folks and that is hard for someone than has relied on themself for 80+ years.

When I 1st saw these women I thought they were beautiful and funny as watched and laughed along. Now I think that they are being used by relatives for their own reasons in ways that they don't even understand. Making home movies for yourself is a different matter but these videos are obviously intended for public release. Displaying elderly individuals, especially your own family members, for your own gratification is distasteful and I won't participate further. Call me crazy but I stopped watching and thereby supporting football last year also because I finally started to see it for what it really is... just people being used by other people regardless of any harm done.

My grandma was the same way with her money. Since it was her money to make her feel better we would take it out and give it to her. She wasn’t spending it. She just wanted to have it. I guess it made her feel secure. Maybe let her have a few $100s just to hold. I’m sure she’d be happy and not worried about it
I hope no one steals Grammas money. Who ever manages her money and bills should be showing her the bank statements at least monthly. @@susansauls8902 I just researched the local newspaper in West Virginia and you can Google it ginga 100th birthday. they interviewed her but I did not see a video just a picture and I feel so bad and sad because ginga looks so terrible it looks like they are taking care of her but she certainly doesn't look happy. it was kind of sad because she was in a wheelchair in pajamas and her hair was a total mess not like ginga would want to be not sure what's going on with that side of the family
Shane Kasunich I just looked up Gingas 100th Birthday..The Mayor payed her a visit and gave her 100 $1 bills..and a Gift Card to get her hair done and Some Rose's..She seemed happy! The local News Station filmed it..

You can tell she is really upset about not having extra cash. This isn't the first time she has mentioned how upset she is about wanting extra cash. I just love watching these girls! They brighten my day! My grandma has already passed and it warms my heart that you share these videos of your Grandma and Ginga with us. They are a joy to watch. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018 and these ladies have helped get me through some rough days. Makes me smile watching these videos. Thank you Sheila and Frank! Love from Texas 💝😘
