e b The trunk would be standard with the Roadmaster (as well as hard lowers) it is an add-on with the Chieftain line.

Very true. I love the Road King. My first three bikes had no fairings, and by the third one, I was attaching a Garmin GPS to the handlebars. When I got my first Chieftain, I realized I wanted a fairing because it's just nice to have things all together and to have a radio, BUT, that being said, I do miss having bikes without a fairing. I can turn all the electronics off, but I do enjoy the open road with just a windshield in front of me.

Hi James. Great questions. I went with the Chieftain Limited over the Roadmaster because of the styling and the color. At the time, the Roadmaster only came in the more retro styling, and I preferred the newer/sleeker look that looks like a Victory with a little Street Glide influence. Now of course there is the Roadmaster Dark Horse, which has the more modern styling, but a more matte red that I’m not certain how I feel about. On this bike, I don’t have the Rush Exhaust. My friend Sally has it on her Chieftain. I have the TAB slip-ons with Zombie baffles, and stock headers. It’s loud. Really loud. But I think I would like to switch to the full Rush exhaust like Sally has. It’s maybe 85% as loud, but it just has a much better tone in my opinion. Who knows? lol.. Like I said in some other comment, I'll probably wait until the touring versions of the Challenger come out. I'm enjoying this Chieftain.

Jay C Nope. I wanted this color. I didn't know the Challenger Limited would come in this color, of course, but even if I did, it's such a different bike that I would probably want to wait a bit on it. It's going to be a very different experience than the 111.

Seabass 82 For that very reason! I love the color, and it wasn't available on a Roadmaster. So, I made my own but without lowers. Like a half Roadmaster. A RoMast.

That's amazing. Keep riding and I hope there are many more. Or not, you know, I mean, you might not want many more. But if you do want many more, I hope.... okay, it's too early in the morning for me to be trying to write.

You know, I was really headed down that path, but to be honest, there is something about the red on this Limited that I just loved. Of course, had I known that the Challenger Limited would be available in the exact same red.... lol

Dennie Suchman Couldn't! The Challenger wasn't released until just last week. Besides, I really like the Chieftain. But of course, we'll see..lol
