Based on your prior experience, I'm surprised you went with a motorhome again! We have lived fulltime and offgrid for 8 years and 4 months and we never pay for a place to BE. I maintain we never will! But for the way we live, a 5th wheel is better so that we never have all our eggs in one basket. :) Our truck has been in the shop a few times over the years but our living space (the 5th wheel) has been absolutely UNaffected. :) Good luck!

That’s amazing! I’m so happy for you! Welcome to the Travato family!! We shouted with excitement when we saw the big reveal! I have to admit that I was secretly hoping you’d get a Travato! Hope the trip back went well. I used to live in Seattle, and still have family in the area, so we’ve done the trip back to the PNW several times. T never gave us a problem and we average ~16mpg. Our T’s sweet spot is ~62-65 mph cruising. If we ever live in the interior PNW again, there are so many places to go with the T. I just know that you’re going to love it! If you ever have questions, just ask! Congratulations!!!

Sweet G Wagon! I spotted several mods that look interesting. We are in Portland and flew to Phoenix to grab our Travato at the beginning of the long covid nightmare. With the Travato we have so much fun and can go anywhere any time. Wave when you go by!

Looks like it should be very easy to maneuver, and it has all of your essentials (kitchen, wetbath). If it's not diesel, then I would think that many typical auto shops could work on it. Looks like a great choice.

Oh, that's cool. I looked at a few Class B Travatos when I was RV hunting. Loved the RAM chassis. Guess I'm a RAM guy at heart. I have the RAM 1500 Limited pickup. My last few vehicles have been Dodge RAMS. I researched and looked around almost as long as you did for my "new-2me-RV". I knew the choice would be a Class B but surprised myself after finding a great deal for a 2020 Airstream Interstate GT Ext. 4WD. I'm going to subscribe and hope to see you someday on the road. Based on the previous video with your friend Jane, I figured you were going to buy a B+ RV. I like the B+ RV’s also. My problem is that I have champagne tastes and a beer budget as I like the Airstream Interstate 24GT.😮 Problems are the cost and it only sleeps 2. My adult daughter and our dog would be traveling with me.

That’s a nice looking rig. A definite step up from car camping, and it will fit in so many more places than the Class A. You’ll probably never have to worry if you’ll fit under a bridge, either. Well done.
