Wow that Shiba liked you guys IMMEDIATELY! I'm surprised he was even laying on his back after the car, that's a sign of trust! Whoever you got him from trained him SUPER well.

I have a Shiba picked up at 10 weeks, and the first couple of weeks have been hectic, but finally have a routine that works for all of us!

Congrats on getting your dream puppy! ☺ Reminded me on when we got Paku (also a Shiba ;D). From what I could see is that Haku is a really confident puppy, which is great but can also have it's challenges. If I'm allowed to make a suggestions, try to do lot's of bonding trainings or activities. For example, walking together over an obstacle or when he sees something for the first time where he's unsure what to do, show him that it's nothing to fear and so on. Why do i say this, Shibas take their time to really trust and bond with you, even if it seems like he bonded with you immediatly it's only on the surface (believe me when I say that because I experienced it with Paku myself). The more bonding activity you do with him the better it is on the longer run, when he starts to mature and really begins to decide if he wants to listin' to you or not.😉 But anyway, enjoy the puppy time 🥰

Did you choose the name Haku? Or once the breeder chooses the name, you have to use that?
