After 4 years of wanting one and almost a year after we put our deposit down, we have finally brought our very own long haired miniature dachshund home and are absolutely in love. Meet Nala!
We have miniature black & tan short haired one, he was 1yr old last week & yes he had doggy cake with 1 candle. I just love hi to bits. I have wanted one for a lot of years unfortunately couldn't afford one. I am in Scotland & unknown to me our son & his wife did a 6hr trip to England to get one they booked. They stayed there over night & travelled back up next day after picking him up. He is best b.day present Ave ever had. My husband knew bout it so he could buy everything he needed. He is absolutely brilliant. X
I have a Daxie named Dixie. She is a short haired black and rusty brown. She has paws the size of flippers. Dixie is the star if the show wherever we go, and she sleeps cuddled up next to me under her blanket. She is the sweetest little darling. My little buddy. They love to have a blanket to burrow into. She knows she can chew up her blankets, but never destroys any other blankets. If you treat them be accordingly they will be very friendly with a lovely personality. If you tease them and treat them rough they can be vicious and snappy.
Awww she sounds lovely! Nala has grown into a beautiful daxie and definitely loves to borrow! We have blankets all over the house. It's her favourite thing to do :)

Daschunds are always snuggled up babies. No matter how old they are forever your baby. My doxie is 6 years old and is my baby. She sleeps in our room in her crate. Now, we live in Roxie’s house. We sit on Roxie’s couch and sleep in Roxie’s bedroom. Haha. Wouldn’t have it any other way
Awwww you’re such a good dog mom and man is Nala just ridiculously adorable 🥰 I’m from Cowtown, too, but now live in Germany so this was a bit of nostalgia blast for me since my husband and I haven’t been back to visit for so long due to Covid. Hopefully this year!
My mini dachshund peed in her playpen and ripped a hole in the bottom! Now we only use the crate and she sleeps for 12 hours, and definitely no accidents. 🐕💜
She is adorable. I have 2 male Dachshunds. One is 5 years old, the other is 2 years old, and we are picking up another Dachshund puppy on the April 15th 2022. This one is a piebald Dachshund. They are the best dogs to have. Good luck with your new pup. I did sub to your channel. Good girl Nala.

@@alexandraslifeofwellness They are my fur babies. I had to put my 13 year old male to sleep September 3rd, 2021. I had him for 13 years. He died in my arms. It tore my heart out. ❤️

I got my mini dapple long hair, she was only 6 weeks and she didn’t cry at night at all…. Because I slept with her every single night…… hihihi….. she felt safe and warm …… until now , she is 9 years old…… love her a lot
Aww, that’s how I felt when I first got my mini. How do you feel about her now? I got my first dog as a miniature dachshund and he completely surprised me how full of personality he had. 😂

Collar is much Too big he is a baby and he will never be so big he will need that. MY DACHSHUND is 18 yes old I have had many of them for the 50 yes I have been married.
FordPuppies up to three months/12 weeks/ stay with their mother!!! Your puppy is too young to be tought to walk the stairs , specially down. Please no stairs at all !!!!!!!!!! . Why this puppy Is not with her mother-dog? The puppy has to sleep 24/7 with the breaks for meals and toilet/goes to the same spot outside so she learn her routine. Crate, what for? Open bed on a floor only ! It has to be warm , natural/no polyester/ and comfortable, layered/ our dachshund like to be covered/this protect their kidney and bladder/.Every dog has to have warm and comfortable bed on the floor. No jumping: specially for dachshund is very dangerous! Doggies develop first twelve months, so they have to sleep a lot! No going for a walk, only to the same spot! And come back home to be washed and go sleep until the next meal /three times a day/.Puppy is not a toy. We treat Her/him like a human being. Each dog loves to get a hug or two every day, specially evenings.We can not touch doggie muzzle and the top of the head! Only behind the ears and under the chin! we teach the doggie to bite!
