Love that you immediately illustrate with an actual game and comment on the action. I am so over people talking for 20 min before they actually demonstrate.
You're my favorite youtube channel for pickleball tips and videos! I love the editing and the way you give very clear and concise info! I have seen a definite improvement on my game, so thank you!
You are definitely the BEST pickleball instructor on RU-vid. Love how you break down the plays, explain them, show in SLOW motion. So easy to understand. AND, i love your humor!! Wish you had pickleball camps. I'd sign up immediately 🙂
I’m new to pickleball. Love your approach to teaching in your videos. You show it’s ok to be serious about improving and have fun at the same time. Well done!
Great video Kyle. The game play with instruction and playback is extremely helpful. Thank you for the amazing content as always. Keep up the great work.
Actual game footage, good backward and forward, gets to the point. I love your vids, Kyle. It probably helps that these guys are at the same level I am, so they are working on stuff I need to work on.
The 'make one more ball' clip is brilliant. Guy in grey volleys from the no volley zone at least twice, 7:30 and 8:07. Kyle saying they feel like they should have won the point three or four times, seems like they should have lost the point three or four times :)
Excellent analysis!!! I just wish while playing I could recognize those situations fast as you pointed out. I feel many times I am reacting and not thinking about two shots in advance.
Just want to say your content is different and better than many pickleball channels. Other channels frontload the clip with too much talking and introduction. Your work also has insight that other channels to not provide. Great job! I subscribed.
Love your vids, including the slo-mo, but when you reverse direction multiple times over a few selected frames it can be disorienting. I have a suggestion for keeping the viewer oriented which is to either add some arrows on screen that always show if the direction is forward or reverse, or make reverse scrubbing in black and white so color always means forward. It's obvious to you in control of the scrubber, but less obvious to us. Thanks for the vids.
Like your videos and presentation style. One suggestion: could you include a link to Part 1 in this outline section? I've looked for it on your channel but cannot find the referenced video. Thanks.
If I accidentally return high and short into the opponents kitchen should I still run up to the net and anticipate a hard shot or should I stay at the baseline?
Cross-court hard fails again! (it's my favorite saying). At 12:32 JT is doomed by his partner who hit it cross-court hard. The person returning the cross-court shot has forever to smash it at the dude in front of him who is no chance.
Another way to look at the triangle effect is to say if you speed up cross-court your partner is likely going to eat the sped up counter. I call that cross court speed up the "I hate my partner shot". If the speedup had gone straight ahead that is less likely.
You need to let video clips play through from the start to end, then describe the learning point, then replay it once more. The start-stop in the middle without going through the lesson being taught interrupts the flow of learning.
I wish you would point out the number of times players step on the kitchen line while volleying, particularly at minute 7:27 when the tall guy with the grey shirt steps on the line practically the whole time he is volleying. It is cheating.
