This seems to be problematic with several machines which is caused when stopping the machine after being in oscillation mode. The chances of the rotation plate on the bottom being square to the case is rare. I taped a dowel to the center that protrudes beyond the front of the case to the plate. On the bottom front edge of the case I marked a half way point. When the two line up the plate is centered. Start and stop oscillation when the two line up. I’m not sure if any damage occurs if you force the two to align.
Easy fix.. I have Tutor different model. There is a square plate at bottom of machine that needs to be position straight. When you oscillate and stop the square plate is pointed to last direction when stop. Just turn machine upside down and straighten or center plate and all will be fine. I had to call because I had same issue.
This is a horrible suggestion! It means you have to remove all the balls then adjust the plate then replace the balls!? And exactly how do you adjust the plate? Manually? Or do you turn oscillator on and off till the plarte is centered?! GORAN: What are you doing to adjust the plate?
This model shouldn't have sidespin capability. the ball looks like it has side spin as it curves to the right slowly as opposed to a straight line. can you check if the two white wheels are aligned with each other? I suspect one of them is tilted at an angle.
The issue is exactly with the wheels. Looking straight at the machine, you can clearly see that they are mal-positioned towards the left, and aren't aligned straight. The problem is in the metal bracket that mounts the wheels to the housing. My demonstration was to show the Pickleball Tutor folks how the ball travels to the left, instead of straight. They did remedy the situation by sending me a new machine, but only after the 3 time. The second machine they sent was actually worse than the first one. They then tinkered with the metal bracket that holds the wheels, and now the wheels appear to be more aligned. Being it's winter in MN, I still haven't had a chance to test drive it, but just by looking at it, it does appear that the initial issue will be resolved. 🙂
