Hey Daniel, whats up with no uploads for 2 years? Are you ever gonna start back? I know you are busy with the other channel but...I know you're still cooking!! Come On Ma!!🤓
Hi, I've seen other vids that call for soaking asparagus in salt water for 2 hours to prevent them from getting mushy. Are yours crisp after this process? Thanks in advance!
So glad to have you back with a new recipe. Is a new review with Jonas coming next? Can't believe that people don't like asparagus. This recipe looks delicious. Don't fear the spear!
Only takes a few minutes. You're just looking to get the temperature up and get the flavors mixing. The temp of the brine allows the jar to create a seal as it cools after you pop the lid on.
Hej Daniel! Brilliant! I was looking forward to this when you mentioned in your other vid channel. Thank you for sharing and another recipe keeper for me!
Hey Magdalena! Okay seriously, this one is a keeper. I'd never even made this before I started researching how I could put together this recipe and I swear I ate almost the whole jar in one sitting. I think I'm an asparagus junkie. I may need to go to Asparagus Anonymous and get some help.
Hey thanks, Jeremiah. It's the same method I use for regular pickles and I typically have no issue getting 8-12 weeks safely as long as the fluid level remains reasonably high or if I make sure to shake the bottle occasionally if I chow the level down. Unopened and on a shelf, I tend to get at the same length or longer as long as the seal is good.
Hello. Nice ! I've never tasted pickled asparagus but I sure love 'em. I bet those were quite spicy & tasty. When ever I get any asparagus in the house from the store or garden I'm having bit problems getting them cooked...or whatever the plan is because I tend eat them raw...so there's nothing left. So question : Does these make your pee stink like the un-pickled ones ?. I liked your video. Thanks 👌👍😀
The worst part about this recipe is having to wait a few days to try it. I just did this recipe I use different peppers and added some Hot Chili Pepper but it still looks like it turned out great! I can't wait to try this out!
I'd never tried it either. The fact that I ate almost the whole jar in one sitting probably says I should make this more often. I have to make a jar without the peppers because Megan feels left out.
Really liked the ease of this method. I had asparagus that we couldn't eat right away and I didn't have enough to pressure can a batch and this method saved the asparagus from going bad. You remind me of my beautiful brother or passed away this year. Same beautiful smile and personality (I don't know you personally, so this is just the outward personality you express, just like him).🙂 Thank you for sharing! Yours was the first video I clicked on when I search RU-vid.
i have had i before....but i dont eat it hahaha the wife doesnt like it either so we never eat it lol, extreme is a big word but i rather eat a lemon lol
Hahaha maybe someday, youtube is on a low right now been so busy and getting a new job end of the year preparing for that. Responding and so nor problem but cant see to find if i make a video to edit it and upload it got some stuff almost ready but man its a struggle. Make a video on you othere channel with tips when you struggle.
@@ExtremeFoodReviews LOL Are you kidding it seemed each person grabbed their own personal jar and wouldn't share. I just made some more about 4 days back. So now I have a few jars to last me for a little while. :-)
Awesome recipe! My mom brought me a jar of tabasco pickled asparagus and I was surprised to see on the label "made with genetically modified asparagus". No thanks! This looks so much better!
