Me and my cousins used to pick these by our river and just eat them straight out of the ground.

I've got these in my garden. Every year i cut the stems and flowers and dehydrate them, using them in my food, but i never pull out the bulbs because i want them to grow again. This year there's so many that i want to pull some out with the bulbs and preserve that too. Thanks for the video.

If it looks like onion or garlic, smells like onion or garlic, and tastes like onion or garlic, they're an allium and all parts are safe to eat!

These onion weeds are so traumatizing I can't bring myself to eat them. They are an aggressive invasive weed in my urban garden plot. They spread incredibly and if you try to dig them out they will spread tons of tiny bulbs to so that you never stop battling them. I've been cutting them below the ground surface and heavily mulching to weaken them. I also never let the flower/seed heads mature. From December to July they are a nightmare.
@OrionAon

You're likely dealing with Allium vineale. The species in this video is native.

you know you can make your own apple cidar vinegar from apple peels, add a little sugar so it will ferment put it in a jar and leave it In the dark covered with a cloth for 10-12 days use a rubber band to secure the cloth, apple cidar vinegar is so good for you,
@OrionAon

You wouldn't rather grow a few multipliers in a pot and leave the local flora alone?
@OrionAon
@OrionAon Год назад
Thinning out a dense population like this actually helps the rest of the plants thrive by reducing competition, increasing space, and providing disturbed ground for better seed germination.
