C'mon now, do you really have to ask yourself that. We all know why he really dropped to where he did. Just ask yourself this: How is it that a Heisman-winning QB was drafted #1 overall, while Jackson, another Heisman-winning QB whose credentials measure up just as well as the #1 overall pick, almost wasn't drafted in the first round at all until a team traded back in the first round to get him? See I think you know the answer to the question already, but ask yourself anyway!!!!
I have been watching these drafts for years , and i can honestly say this is the first time i believe it will happen. When L. Jackson said "THEY GONNA GET A SUPERBOWL OUT OF ME" , i got chills when i heard that. That my sport fan friends is PURE HUNGER AND DETERMINATION. I look forward to following this kids career.
A lot of idiots in these comments. First it was "Lamar Jackson will be a bust". The moment he won MVP than it became "he'll never win a super bowl". Once he does that than they'll say "I bet he can't win it again". Haters gone hate no matter what lmao.
@@Rivs5117 also tied for last in the league in comebacks from 10+ points. The reality is Lamar is Tim Tebow with a good defense and oline. Every single time his opponents have stopped the run Lamar has lost. He literally can’t throw at a high level and his passing “success” comes from play action because the ravens running game is good

I remember watching this and feeling so bad for Lamar. The fact he stayed there all by himself just knowing he would get picked. Now an MVP. That quote he said “they are getting a super bowl out of me” made a fan out of me.

Ravens won the draft. Hayden Hurst fills their biggest need and will make an impact immediately. Jackson is the best athlete in the draft with the highest upside of all the qbs in this class

Lamar’s whole life has basically been about trying to prove his doubters wrong. Heisman + NFL MVP is not enough for these clowns. It’s just sad. What more can he possibly do?
It’s crazy to look at this now. Lamar has barely started a full season as a Raven and he is already family. I couldn’t imagine him wearing any other uniform.
