I love what the Bucs did, traded down instead of forcing a pick once all their top targets were gone and still got the best dt in the draft to add on 2 more 2nd round picks, I am happy.
Excited to see Jaire Alexander coming to GB, great pickup for us and he'll give us help that we need in our thin secondary. Welcome to GB/Title Town Jaire, can next season just start already
Jimmy Her yup. we traded down, got a future 1st and still got a great CB. i was so disappointed when we dropped to 27 cause i knew we couldnt get Alexander but when we traded back up, i knew it was for alexander. He’s such a good fit in Green Bay. Great cover corner and a return man. Exactly what we needed tbh. Now lets get Lorenzo Carter later on today🤙🏽🧀
I love this pick. It’s a passing league and Miami’s linebackers couldn’t cover the TE and either McDonald or the kid can and are at that exact size window for hybrid players who are big enough and light enough to be quick and fast still, especially Fitz. He can line up anywhere and make plays that change the game. I was so jealous of the Jets, Colts and Browns last season with the safeties/hybrids they picked, especially the Jets. I hate playing that kid twice.
Picks 11-20 4 years later: Fitzpatrick: all-pro safety…on the Steelers Vea: Best nose tackle in the league Payne: stud defensive tackle Davenport: okay d-end Miller: Raiders best O-lineman, solid Edmunds: Stud linebacker whose only getting better James: baller when healthy Alexander: shutdown corner Vander Esch: fell off a cliff after his rookie year Ragnow: very good center
LVE really almost fell to Pittsburgh. Being a Boise State fan I kept an eye on Leighton and the only team that was talking about taking him was Pitt. Sure was a nice surprise to take the steal of the draft!
Whitehot Lions need a RB and the C/G we got would have had a better chance of being there for Lions in 2nd then the top 5 RBs. I want RB Sony Michel so bad but of course Patroits drafted him lol it just sucks to be a Lions fan at times
If we have a decent line then we have more than enough talent at running back with the addition of Blount to have a top ten running game. Give Stafford a running game and watch him take the MVP home.
EYENOAHGUY ! Blunt had 1 or 2 season with 1k yards and had been the robin to most teams batman so as far as i can see adding one OL wont help fox that fact
I was pretty upset because we didn't draft Tremaine Edmunds when he was on the board but Payne is big and Alabama grooms grown men over there and he played against quality SEC talent.
Edmunds looks like a monster but Payne filled a huge need. That boy is a stud. Vita vea is a little bigger and stronger but Payne is WAY more polished technically. Putting him next to Jonathan Allen is gonna make for some nastiness up front.
I played high school football with Frank Ragnow! So happy he went in the first round. Lions got a great player and person. Sucks he's stuck on the Lions though....
The Underdogs Broncos yea they are going to destroy teams. Like the Bills and Jets. The pocket QB is a thing of the past. Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson types are the future. Broncos are going to throw a sack party on the jets and bills.
I think Detroit did what good top front offices do build inside out protect your QB with this organization we're so use to the flash pick with no foundation it's sicking. I know it doesn't sound like RB Wr or De but this is how u soildfy your team on both sides of the ball & trust me there will be good backs & De Dt there like key from lsu Freeman the RB
Pat Norris see, that could be bullshit and you just mashed your keyboard a few times, but im not gonna check and choose to believe that he has a very long and very cool name
Honestly, not even mad that we traded our first rounder for next year for Marcus Davenport, I’ve seen this dudes highlights and he’s a beast, drew brees has another two-three more years at least so we’ll get our qb of the future in the next year or two #WhoDat
I personally thought they were taking him Davenport looks to be a bust, and why would they trade Jackson if they picked him ? Lol saints would have cut bait with Taysom Hill never sign Bridgewater and run Lamar Jackson in place of what Hill was doing for the saints
That scary chargers defense just got a whole new chapter of scares with us taking Derwin James... Watch out for our boys next year... Afc west division leaders 2018! Bolt up baby!⚡⚡⚡
I kinda like the pick Dallas made I feel like he could bring something to the table but I really can't judge cause I don't know how well any of these guys will adjust to the NFL.
I just realized they stopped showing the players on their phones with the team that drafts them right before its announced.... more suspenseful tv I guess
Love the chargers pick, but really I thought the bills stole our guy. I think Tremaine Edmunds was higher on our list, he would of been perfect to help the run defense. Also the fact that safety is pretty stacked this yearr. But still, I’m happy for this pick.
Harambe tbh the 2019 class is expected to be the worst in the last two decades but yeah maybe something falls between the cracks for the 1st round next year
As a Raiders fan, you don’t understand how mad I was when we selected Kolton Miller over Derwin James but he’s shut my mouth over these past 2 seasons and is a SOLID LT and our best Offensive Lineman!
SkittlesBro13 well going off rookie seasons, since derwin was injured more then half this season, derwins pff grade was higher, and relative to position he was top 10 in almost every stat, while vea was top 10 in barely any
1:19 "They signed Mitch Unrein in free agency...." Coming from a Bears fan, announcing a that a team signed Mitch Unrein isn't saying anything. I'm glad Chicago got rid of him. He did nothing.
Bad pick by my Raiders im sorry. I get that Broncos now got Chubb and Miller (& Shane Ray) and Penn is old but this dude Colton Miller is 6'8 and doesn't really seem to have dominant leg drive and strong hands; especially coming from someone picked in the first round. Hell the tackle from Oklahoma I think has more upside and we could've got him in the later rounds. NOTICE HOW THEY DID NOT PLAY ANY OF HIS HIGHLIGHTS LMAO. We should've drafted EDMUNDS at LB and looked for a TACKLE later smh....
Damon snacks Harrison Yea, Gruden is not feeling Donald Penn but this dude Colton Miller watch the film and you'll see that he doesn't have good bend and gets beat a lot on counter moves. We should have drafted Tremaine Edmunds or Derwin James.
Yea they drafted him on potential not what they saw on film. He's 6'9-310 with crazy athleticism. We'll see maybe the coaches know what they are doing and hes gonna be elite. But they definitely need him in that division, miller, chubb, bosa and mack
Moritz B if they next few tackles have the same or close to the same qualities, why reach when we can get more nasty on defense with Derwin James or Tremaine Edmunds
