Even tho I had to cut it short It was still a good time ❤ I will be back in October! I'm not going to let my anxiety get the best of me and ruin what I love 😍

My partner went crazy this Tinley and picked up a lot of the coolest species at Tinley. The only pair of Angolan pythons in the room. The only 3 macklots pythons. He got a black-head python. A carpondro. Some cool locality specific milksnakes. I personally felt the show was underwhelming as far as animals go. Idk if i just missed a lot of the cool stuff, or if I've been to Tinley enough that a lot of the animals are just becoming the norm for me. 🤷‍♀️ I only picked out 2 of the animals we brought home. An OD Vanilla ball python with paradoxing, and a cute baby female African house snake to add to our raise up group. The rest were all my partner's picks. Shows in PA are awesome. I'll be at the Pittsburgh Mega show in May. Cincinnati is a bucketlist show for me as well.

Very nice!! Very jealous of the black head python my DREAM snake! It could be a mix in terms of the feelings it all just depends! We are lucky to get to go as often as we have so things that some may not see as commonly that we do may not phase us as much maybe? However I know there is a bit of a “shake up” happening to get newer vendors in so maybe that will help reinvigorate those underwhelmed feelings!!

@@NJPExotics Yup. Unfortunately the black-head is in PA with my bf's partner. So I don't have pics. And yeah, I definitely agree. Like the different color phased iguanas that 1 vendor always brings. The same iguanas have been brought to Tinley every time, because they're so chill and are happy just to pose for pics. But I saw other people whose jaws just dropped seeing them. So could be their 1st Tinley. I did see some ADORABLE rain frogs though that I should have gotten a picture of. They're so stinkin cute, but managing water to the level that a lot of frogs need is not my thing.

Exactly! And those are neat but yeah the water thing is why i got out if fish years ago i miss having aquariums and one day i hope to revisit it once the water maintenance can be better managed in a different space same with amphibians
