Post-frontal cold front conditions made it tough to get bit and stay warm. A late day flurry saved us from a cold livewell. This will be the last Winter Trail event I can fish due to the Bassmaster Open Series getting cranked up. Thanks for the support in this fun off-season series.

When I fished the Opens I constantly forgot to put the net back in my boat. Did you not have a new net in your new Phoenix? Mine came with one in the console floor.

No I opted for the oversized 56 gallon tank, which prevents the ability to use the net storage.

It pays to not give up. It only takes five. But in that Pickwick tournament trail, it always takes 5 big ones.
