That's because this is the Canadian one and they tend to be more passive. Even consultants/workers in the business world aren't taught hard sell. They tend to treat it as the corporate advertisers job . If I started going on about how much I really enjoyed something (if I really liked some product at work), they'd kinda look at me like 'okay, maybe I'll try it' ,but still a kind of funny expression ,like they don't expect you to over enthuse to the point of heavy advertisement,'they like it,they like it,they don't,they don't '. One American book seller was at a collective/conference book sale,and the next year he didn't show up and everyone was looking for his table. Most of the people took note of something they might like next year and came back it ,but he didn't think he did enough business the first year, which is hard to expect from Canadians. Even though I'm not always crazy about the dresses they choose in this one,it is more laid back. They probably have it stipulated in their television contracts that they're going to buy a dress there the same as all the rest do ,anyway.

being picky is fine but KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. it's endlessly frustrating to ask someone "what do you want" and they say "i can't decide" but when you show them the options they just go "not that, not that, not that, not that." real talk, if you don't want to spend thousands on a dress that isn't your perfect unicorn dream dress, then BUY A CHEAP DRESS ON EBAY.

@@dietotaku what you want may not be right for you when you try it on. Most people find it easier to know what they don't want, by a process of elimination they can more easily refine their choices.
