I think the brass with black would have been amazing, but you know what your customers like. It’s a great craft idea and a wonderful use for old wicker baskets. Thanks
These turn out fantastic. Love the stencils. The animals are always my favorites. But the tall basket with the flower on it was a beauty. You have magic girl. Always love watching you. Thanks.
OH My Gosh ! Yvonne I just ❤️❤️ them 👍 What a great idea of putting the transfers on the drop cloth 👍You just make my Day Every time I watch you ❤️ ya 🤗
Ofcourse these baskets are beautiful as always, with the black and the transfers they should sell very fast. You are do fantastic no one compares to you. God bless
Thank you Kelly🤍 This person has commented multiple times. So sorry as I’m working through my comments. Wondering if it a troll. I’ll report it. Again sorry to all that received this.
@@GingerChickRehab it’s ok. Guess there are always gonna be people that just can’t be nice and scroll on. Don’t let them burst your bubble! Keep being you...that’s why we love you ❤️❤️❤️
I love it when a plan goes haywire but then comes together even better than the original plan. Hope you never lose any of your enthusiasm, it is contagious and so uplifting.
Yvonne …. How great are these ! The pillow cover is a perfect match for this project ❤️. I will say when you cut the Rooster out, the tickling fabric, I’m yelling NO NOT THERE ! Then I said..she knows what she is doing and it will look fabulous! Good to know you can remove the fabric off the over fabric before it completely dries ! I think I need to try the Transfers on fabric ❤️❤️❤️ You picked the perfect one for this project! ANOTHER WELL DONE UPCYCLE! Hugs to you ! 🧡🧡🍁🍁🍁🧡🧡
Picnic baskets would be great as gift hampers. I send a gift hamper to someone the other side of the UK with local Lincolnshire food in it at Christmas. A little taste of home.
I am always drawn to picnic baskets when I see them out on a thrift run too! I also quickly figured out they are great for storage as well, and stack nicely :) So I currently already have three picnic baskets that I want to upcycle. One is a different style, more of the suitcase type, but I believe this idea will work out just as well on that basket, too. I happen to already own that IOD Transfer book, plus my new Critter 118 Siphon sprayer just arrived yesterday. Drop cloth, ticking fabric (although mine is red and cream, but I think the red ticking will look great on a black basket!), and spray adhesive in my craft supplies, so I think I'm good to go! It's like this project was made for me to do! I am bookmarking this video so I will be sure and not "lose" it! Thank you so much for these projects and all the wonderful inspiration in this video!
Oh my gosh you are such an inspiration! I had some baskets I had already painted and distressed in black...I knew they needed something else! Thank you for sharing your knowledge I LOVE your channel!!
Love the drop cloth on the black baskets with the ticking stripe fabric, girl I was waiting for this one Love it . I new you would do wonders with those Iod transfers love them so much !!
@@GingerChickRehab I watch Julie’s videos & you both are great at what you do , you both put your own twist on the project’s . I watch you two fatefully everyday.
Thanks so much for the great ideas!! I have a picnic basket and this would be perfect!! I think I will do it to an old vintage tin trash can I have too. Yay!
These baskets are so so nice. And that ticking fabric really made those images pop. My favorites are the one with the flowers, and also the rooster basket. I have tried transfers, but not on fabric yet.
Before you painted them that small basket w the brass was my least favorite after you finished and with that transfer it was my most favorite..just darling. I have those IOD transfers too, the first ones I used, the rooster n. chicken 😂 love them !
I love these! I have a picnic basket sitting by my desk waiting for inspiration and now I got it! I am taking an inspiration from a couple of your videos-I am gonna do something like this but with the Tim Holtz decoupage paper! Love the black on these! Thank you for your art and for sharing!
I need to take a moment to thank you 🙏🏻 Thank you so much for these videos. Not only do I love your creations but also love that you explain everything so well and add the end price. I’ve decided to give a go with having my own booth. I’ve got a lot of stuff from thrifting & now need to thin the hoard. Lol You’ve really inspired me. Plz continue making these videos. Take care & Happy Holidays. Good Bless
Hi Yvonne. U always match up the perfect product with the perfect item. Good eye! They all came out beautiful . And oddly enuff I liked the flowery one the best. I think it was the shape of the basket and the excellent choice of transfer. Once again...great job Yvonne. And btw....Happy Holidays!
