We day hike the Mosquito Falls - Chapel Falls Loop trail in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, along the shores of Lake Superior. With multiple waterfalls, pine forest, arches, cliffs, & rock formations, this is definitely one of the best hikes in the Midwest.

you guys are troopers. I love this place so much, thank you for taking me back up there. So glad you got a good day weather wise to see all of this stunning beauty. The Eagle was amazing on top of Chapel Rock AND I didn't know there was an arch there once. So cool! Yes, that drive is so worth it to get up there.

We considered canceling the U.P. and going somewhere else because of the weather, but it turned out the U.P. had the least amount of rain that week, so it all worked out! Since we only had our day packs, the 11+ mile hike wasn't bad. I didn't realize just how "wild" the U.P. is!

I did that hike last year. Did it from the other direction. It was the longest day hike I've ever done. With so many beautiful views, you don't realize you're walked that far. You took some amazing footage in this video. Love it! HOPE YOU GET A CHANCE TO DO THE KAYAK TOUR. SO MUCH FUN.

Great job shooting this. We kayaked it mostly in 2022 on our own with our sea kayaks. It was unreal. But your video really shows the lake in conditions if you go out the wrong time on the water you could be totally screwed. Lol. A few people per year have to sky lifted out by coast guard. If they get to you in time in the cold water. We cautiously studied what day to go and lucked out and it was still pumping and swelling. Lake Superior is gorgeous. Thanks for your video as we want to also hike there too. Such great imagery you captured. Great job guys!

Thank you! I know kayaking along those shores would be an amazing experience, but probably not the day we were there, LOL. I'd love to backpack the entire 42 mile length of the North Country Trail through the park, maybe someday!

Thanks! Normally in black bear territory, I don't worry about bear spray, BUT this time I did have it with me, as I've been told about some problem bears in that area. We didn't see any on this day though, just some dear and an eagle!
