it is explained in video. in phase 1 oil goes inside the space between inside perimeter of disc and distributor outer surface. oil comes out from outer perimeter of disc and cleaning takes place. Now in phase II hydraullic motor turns the central distributor, clean oil which is already available at the outer perimeter of disc then moves inside of disc to internal passage of distributor then to upper diversion element . Here tricky part to understand is backwashing is happening only for the 20% of disc at one time. Complete backwashing is happening after one rotation of distributor. Corrections welcome.
