Pierre is famous for eating crazy shit; chugging a bottle of hot sauce or eating whole raw eggs, but especially eating live crabs at Ft Point. Thats how he got the nickname Chef Pierre. He also was a main feature of the Thrasher Magainze's 'Skarfing Material' content, where him and Mofo often created not so great recipes. He's basically his own version of Anthony Bourdain. But unlike Anthony, Pierre ate whats available in the San Francisco landscape.
Today we recreat an infamouse dish called the 'Muck Truck Special'
The back story was told to me by then roomate Joey Tershey, that Pierre would make this exact dish at thier house sometime in the early 90's. So I bought all the same ingredients and told Pierre good luck.....
