I mean its one of the easier supers to parry, plus he was probably already air parrying to cover flashkick or an anti air with like st mp, but it does look very flashy

Gawd no. Japanese SF3 top players have been doing this since 3rd Strike practically exists. Calling it "diego parry" is a very heavy understatement, because he isn't even a top 3S player in Japan.
@@TheTrueBro Wow, 2YO comment dug back up. Yeah, nowadays I use it more for slang or just call it a "Full Parry". Also, didn't Daigo leave the 3S scene ages ago? I know he keeps moving onto whatever's modern.
Because at higher level play using reversals isn't worth it alot of the time. If remy goes for the flashkick and q blocks it then remy could take 60% off of the punish alone on top of losing meter. Remy really doesn't have enough health to enjoy using reversals especially in 3s where almost every character has massive punishes
