That's a great idea! I drive a 1992 steel blue Pontiac Sunbird. The exterior and interior are both in fine shape. It's not been smoked in, so, it has an air fresh scent. It has an AM/FM radio system AND a cassette tape player! The air conditioner is new and cools down the cabin completely. Just a beautiful auto. I could rent it out for foto shoots in front of the Hotel de Paris.
Then I won't drive a Corolla as a celebrity. I hate those damn pesky paparazzi cameras noticing me. Instead I'll just drive an ugly car or get on one of those buses while dressing plainly. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. In reality, I'm a non-celebrity and low profile person. I'm sure being in a Corolla would do me no harm.
@Adam K People wont vanish - I dont believe that Jesus will come and just take us away. We are born into this world and we will DIE in this world. So after we die we will stand before God and God will decide if we go to Heaven or not. As far as I know the so called "vanishing" this was added to the bible. Yeah I COMPLETLEY AGREE with you by not taking this Fake vaccine - its their agenda to depopulate us and control us - I guess they are always hungry for control for some strange bizzare reason - probably they are not human. Or they recieved ORDERS from their father Satan to do this to make him happy and as a result of that their daddy Lucifer will reward them. AFter all Satan is the Prince of this world but than again it is also said that GOD is IN CONTROL and he cant do anything without GODS approvall. Its a fucked up world that we live in. If you think about it: we could all live in peace and be happy if there werent corruption, big egos and greed etc. We have everything in this world to live happily and make our dreams come true but as you see its hard or very hard to achieve this... In the end the only conclusion is: That we are put in this world only to be tested by God.
Gonna be real hard for me to forget he's the guy that thinks only the rich should be armed. And I'm rich, but I'm also American and believe the working class built this country and deserves the right to self-defense. P.S. But yeah, this was a good documentary.
"...the sort of report Piers is suited for rather than politics." A distinction without a difference. Money and politics are hand in hand, and both rest on ideas and power, which are usually hand in hand, too.
I don't think you are an official resident of Monaco if you do that so you won't get the tax savings. However, buy the million dollar crappy apartment for residency and live on a yacht.
When your a billionaire that is like 5K for normal people... Which is an easy investment considering the amount of money your saving however if lets say your quite a bit less wealthy like 100 Million - 600 Million I agree it is a bit much.
I work in Monaco, in one of the offices located on the harbour actually, it's not 3€ but he's right, you can go there for less than 10€. And during winter they set up an ice skating place on the harbour too.
This video first aired in the UK on February 9th 2009....I remember watching this on TV at the time but not realising what was about to happen to me in a months time....watching this floods back so many memories of being an innocent 16 year old staying in watching piers morgan documentaries...how life changes
From mom's basement free porn is all you ever get. Cheaper yes but it's not like you got a choice do you? I'd say get a life but we all know that's never voing to happen. The best you can do is be green dreaming in mom's basement.
Did you hear the part about the ex wives? An apartment a car and an allowance. To the "Old rich, bald, fat men" this is chicken feed... do you have an aversion to sex with beautiful young women? If you were a billionaire and they came knocking on your door looking for sex and pocket money, would you open the door and declare "Begone Jezebel! Thou art a blight on human decency"?
I came to Monaco in 1970 with my dad. I was 16 at the time and I remember sitting in the car outside the casino while dad went in to gamble a few chips. This video was very enjoyable.
You sound so interesting. I used to sell boats to (almost) rich people and they were pretty much some of the biggest wankers I've ever met in my life. Not even capable of reading a contract, they were stupid people.
i think the almost rich, or those who make a good living just above middle class are so arrogant and obnoxious..seems like the ultra rich or the working class are more humble,,but of course the working class have more troubles or stress
@Adam K Amen! Thanks Adam for this message. Once again, Lord Jesus is reminding me to focus on Him. I pray that we will be one of the Christians who will be with Him when rapture comes and all my loved ones as well. God bless you and I hope that people who will read your message will repent and give their life to Jesus Christ so they will be saved.
I went to Monaco to celebrate my birthday and it’s fantastic. FYI you get the VAT (19%) on your purchases back ( have your passport present during purchase) you collect the total amount at the airport before departing. This is for all goods - including designer items.
Jerry Simmons to me its just stupid to be honest. that watch is not worth that much. it just people putting a higher price tag on it to make it feel special when it is not!!!
Its simple, the watch is incredibly overpriced, and believe it or not, the veyron is underpriced, including all the R&D bugatti lost money on every car sold.
Piers: "I've spent an entire week in Monaco trying to find a genuine bonafide stinking rich billionaire and here you are." MAF: "Thank you." I need to be on that level of filthy rich that I just say thank you when people talk about how rich I am.
I visited Monaco in 2005 for one week. My friend who happens to be an athlete invited me for The World Athletic Gala Dinner. I had the time of my life and got to meet Prince Albert. I have fond memories of the place. I wish I could win the lottery.
Despite all controversy, Monaco is a wonderful place to live and enjoy with family and friends...i wish every single place in the world was like there.
No matter how much money I have I could never imagine myself living there. It would be cool to visit but to live there ? No. It doesn't seem like real life.
True nice to visit for a day, but if i had millions upon millions, i would certainly not like to live their, and Splash out 60 million on a 4 bedroom flat, duplex, i would stay in Kent, and buy a nice three bedroom house, and still do my Voluntary charity work for my Community, only i would spend some money improving it.
My friend (16) went to that car shop and told the salesman he wanted to look at the Bugatti Veyron as his first car. The salesman believed him. That's how rich Monaco is.
The part where Piers talks to the middle aged women, who have been replaced by a newer model, reminds me of the old saying, 20 goes into 70, more times than 70 goes into 20😎😎
Monaco is something really very special indeed, everything about it is so gorgeous and I for one love luxury and the good life. Yet when I see it I can't help but to think of people (and animals) who die every day from starvation, not even a slice of bread to eat. Children just keel over down dead from not having a doctor care for just basic needs. So sad how extreme of lives compare on this very unfair planet.
My gawd -- watching this episode, I just can't help but think that the area is such an outrageously high quality yet high maintenance 😄 kinda place !! So beautiful and green and radiant blue pools, and outlandish views of the emerald green and sapphire blue ocean !! My sincere heartfelt thanks for sharing this video !!
I visited Monaco back in 2011 and was amazed with all the wealth but you don't have to be rich to enjoy a day or two there. It's nice to dream :) p.s. the palace and the old town on top of hill was definitely a highlight.
I have been in Monte Carlo years ago , it’s beautiful City with the very narrow streets, and there are so may Milliners are leaving there , but regarding Casino is not like Vegas and a lot’s of richest people are playing over there right. Bravo 👏.

Monaco is unquestionably the pearl of Côte d'Azur. The international capital of luxury. This is the perfect place to hire a luxury car and drive it to the finest views and places in Europe. Here is more on Monaco as a location to visit for traveling, luxury Yachts and fantastic buildings!!! I love it!!!
I totally agree on "their has to be a prize for being successful" Most people look down on the rich but I think it is very important to embrace the rice and strive to achieve success and wealth.
Hang on, that guy Miles at 19:15 was on the apprentice last year. He didn't even need to start a business with Alan Sugar. He's living in bloody Monte Carlo!
Oh god.. I've worked for people like this... they go through.. Drivers, Cooks, Nannies, Assistants.. spend buy spend... Waste money left and right......I stayed at arms length and managed to be last man standing as dozens fired..hired.. finally quit... emotionally exhausted ..they're not bad people... just ego driven and that's toxic..
Nope, you are then not considered a citizen of Monaco and will be paying 50% tax on that yacht of yours. You are only allowed to dock your boat in a specific space as well, and docking fee's and maintenance is in the MILLIONS every year. I love how poor people have no clue and think they are smart enough to cheat the system lmao, if you were smart you wouldnt be poor homie.
I was in Monaco in Dec 2017. I have never seen so many Ferraris and Buggatis together. Perhaps i stopped counting Ferraris after a while, there were just too many.
Just visited this place and it was amazing. You don't need to be a millionaire to fit in, but you do to live there. My wife and I make about $500,000 per year together and could easily afford to stay at the hotel de paris and eat at their michelin restaurants, surrounded by these russian oligarchs. It was pretty funny to see how easily you can hang and eat around these people, and appear like you are rich (if dressed right as well) but to LIVE there perpetually would be impossible for almost anyone.
Lol. Yes, they don't actually play pentanque with Faberge eggs and the hotel doorman will let you inside the lobby even if you're not wearing a complicated Patek Philippe despite high humidity. How exactly did you expect them to notice you're not "one of them", I'd imagine most people earning a fine professional's salary are generally sharp-looking?
I love Monaco❤️! My last visit was in January of this year and visit the tomb of Prince Raneiro for the first time ... it was very sad to see Grace Patrícia Kelly and Principe Raneiro tombs 😢.
Depends on where you live and how your health is, but assuming you live in a developed western country and you are in good Health and are older than 20 years and younger than 60 years, then you can definitely do better. It all boils down to: 1- Financial education and wealth creation technique, which we all lack until you do something about it, coz our school systems are not designed to make you financially well off. 2- Are you the kind of folks that blame everything bad happened to you on others, meaning no self reflection and taking responsibility, and blame the wealthy folks for the quality of life you have? 3-Do you belong to the folks with a positive and optimistic mentality or the opposite? 4-Do you have self confidence and believe to pull things off in your life? Coz if don’t believe in your self, ask your self why would others do believe in you? 5- Are you the kind of folks that give up the first minute they fail at something and refuse to figure out why they fail at something and address the root causes for their failure and stand up again and proceed until your mission is complete? 6- Are you the kind of folks who lack vision in life? Vision is the most important aspect for financial freedom. No vision=No wealth=No motivation! 7- Are you the kind of folks that do everything in life to please others or want to have a sense of belonging by doing what others tell you to do or what is good for you just to belong to a group, be it friends or family? 8- Do you have a diploma or a skill that is in high demand in today’s world, if yes, then get the proper work experience in that field, then network in your world and then slowly start you own company? If not, maybe it is time to get a skill that is in high demand. Getting rich is not a privilege but a right everyone is entitled to. But, first you must understand that getting rich is a skill, and it is all about the right, optimistic positive mindset that loves to compete and doesn’t bother to fail along the way to financial success/freedom and stand up again every time he/she fails no matter how many times they fail until their financial success is achieved. Being poor is the single best blessing you can experience in life, coz being poor keeps you motivated, makes sure there is a strong will and desire to succeed and learns you to value money and have respect for money as opposed to the majority of spoiled rich kids who lack respect for money, coz of the reality they being born into, which is a lot of money. 90% of the Rich kids would not be able to compete with poor ones, coz the haven’t struggled in their life and gone through situations you are now going through. There is a reason why a lot of wealth vanish after a couple of generations, all because of lack of respect for money at the side of rich kids, coz the only thing the majority of them have learned is how to spend it not to earn it. I wish you a good day and hope you the best for you.
@@ginorako2176 if we were all rich and managers who will collect youre garbage, drive the truck to carry goods, clean the suage system, look after the sick people, cook food in reataurants, farm the land?? The rich???
@@eunanavesani6074 for now, you have a point, but my reaction is a response on a reaction as though it is someones fault that he has $51 to his name.
