No, he fucking was not, and it is eqsy to check it. Everything he told was a lie for gullible americans. He has assets in Russia and a vested interest in a favourable outcome for russia. Even his historic ‚facts’ are wrong, and most of them are easily verifiable. Even bombing of Sarajevo wasn’t the first European war since WWII, it wasn’t even the first *Serbian* war. There was no coup in Kyev, because the only armed forces were on Yanukovych’s side, at least until police units started to joined the protesters. The second stage of elections were rigged. The Supreme Court judged that there were many irregularities and ordered to repeat it. You don’t get more legal than that. Yanukovych refused. The trade deal with EU was not rejected by the new government, the opposite: Yanukovych rejected it after coming into office in favour of a much worse deal with russia. Most of ukrainians were - and are - pro european and wanted to join the EU. The ‚peace’ offered by putin was a complete capitulation, disarmament of Ukraine, and required Ukrainian g9vernments to be approved in Moscow. This was not only outragious, it was unconstititional, and it would be void even if signed, but there is a snowball’s chance in hell anyone treated it seriously. And either you secrectly masturbate to the guy, or you are a russian troll, because no american would simp so much for a jewish banker. Source: I live here.

Actually, -Jeffrey Sachs is arguably wrong when he calls the US bombing of Belgrade the first war in Europe since WW2. Arguably the first was when the USSR imposed a blockade on Berlin in 1948, blockades being by definition acts of war. The second happened in 1956 when the Soviets invaded Hungary to put an end to the Hungarian Revolution of that year.

@Stephen-gi1rx
@Stephen-gi1rx Месяц назад
@@joeyartk "the Soviets allowed aircraft to fly in to Berlin with supplies." They did not "ALLOW" it. Ot was more a case of they had no other choice BUT to allow it. Blockading the air is more difficult than simply blocking highways and byways on the ground, which was what the Soviets did. They would have had to have had squadrons of jets up in the air ALL day EVERY day for an air blockade to work. The alternative, of course, would have been to shoot down the aircraft running the blockade, The problem there was that the airlift itself was done using MILITARY aircraft. For the Soviets to have shot down those aircraft would have been the equivalent of the Soviets firing on Fort Sumter. Just as with the Cuban missile crisis in 1961, AVOIDING military confrontations was more the order of the day by BOTH sides on that occasion in 1948. (Which was why the West did not send their tanks in to clear the Soviet blockade. No one wanted World War III.)

@@Stephen-gi1rx That's because they didn't want to declare neutrality, Austria did in 1955 and Soviets picked up and left. The whole problem at the time was a post war anxiety for it to NOT happen again and instead of doing negotiations they opted for a revolution. They also didn't invade Hungary, they already recaptured it from the Germans and their military. Here you go if you're really interested in history: Although initially willing to negotiate the withdrawal of the Soviet Army from Hungary, the USSR repressed the Hungarian Revolution on 4 November 1956, and fought the Hungarian revolutionaries until Soviet victory on 10 November; repression of the Hungarian Uprising killed 2,500 Hungarians and 700 Soviet Army soldiers, and compelled 200,000 Hungarians to seek political refuge abroad, mostly to Austria. So tldr is that they wanted to withdraw troops from each country which wanted to remain NEUTRAL and not succumb to the neeeeziiiii ideology again and start a campaign. I wonder if you ever talked to someone who was in WWII inside Europe, because both my grandparents were and nobody wanted it to happen again! Seems like NATO is the new reich based on how they behave

Yanukovych was anti-russian too but he did not like give up the free trade agreement with russia for a trade agreement with the EU
@stanspb763
@stanspb763 Месяц назад
He was a centrist and was eager to agree with the Russian proposal that they should trade with both Russia which accountred for 70% of all trade in Ukraine before the US coup. Yanukovych went to the EU to negotiate a fair trade policy but was given a list of demands that he could not accept. For example Ukraine would be not permitted to trade with Russia, and would be limited to 14% of their harvast could be sold to the EU and no other country. He argued that those rules that were added by the US would bankrupt them. The trade association agreement allowed unlimited exports by the EU to Ukraine. The protests that developed were by young people who were lead to believe that an association agreement would give the visa free entry to Europe to get high paying jobs. That was not permitted. There were 3 different groups protested, the young people were first but it was normal in those days to protest everything and the opposing side took tehe opposite side of the street and had tents, pa systems food providers on either sidewalk and parking lane of Khreshchatyk pro-issue on one side and anti on the other and large pa speakers blasting th other side...for years on any topic. Anyone who spent time that end of the street leading to Maidan plaza.. So the protests were tolerated since it was normal, and other than the blasting pa speaker pointed at the opposition it was peaceful regardless of the topic. There were police but their task was to keep protesters from blocking the street or crossing the road to fight their opposition. Well into the protests, weeks later a 3rd group entered and they were under control of some oligarchs and the US Embassy down the street, that is when the protests became violent, and not about the worst trade agreement that the president could not possibly sign(the original agreement allowed continued trade with Russia so that was not a problem but the new protest group was armed and challenge the polite, and killed a number of them until it peaked when the Georgian US controlled snipers on tall buildings to the north side of the street killed both protesters and police and the coup was on. All managed by the US embassy, then the new violent group invaded the legislature and violence erupted there while the normal security guards were murdered. The US got their revolt that started. I was in Ukraine during the first part and got one of the last trains out headed to Crimea. I moved from California to St Petersburg in 2000 and my GF lived there but all her relatives lived in Donbas region but a favorite vacation spot was Crimea and Sevastopol where we had a friend who rented a nice small apartment near the Black Sea Fleet Museum that we could get on short notice. She was already in Crimea and did not know of all the chaos in Kiev. A few days later the nazi militias that formed tried to invade Crimea with vows of murdering all the people there. The Ukraine army stationed there confronted the Nazis just after I made it through an held off the attackers. In the following days the Ukraine army units there took off their badges and voted to stay in Crimea to defend the people from the coup attacker. We left by boat and made it back to St Petersburg without more excitement. After the coup we traveled back to Kiev but it was scary with all the swastika banners10 meters tall hanging from the government building and roving bands of Nazis in groups of 4-10 harassing people so it was not safe for her to be there since she had a Russian passport so spent little time in Kiev and moved on to Odessa, where we often stayed a week or 2 in a nice remodeled apartment. Even the police station had all their signs and documents were in Russian and everyone spoke Russian(up to the coup everything was in Russian even in Kiev before the coup all broadcast, movies, signs were in Russian. I hope Russia can liberate Odessa, the and return it to its true history built by Catherina the Great and is as Russian as Moscow is.

He plays the devils advocate of course but he knows that the end result is that smart people can make a point that is not allowed in MSM. I think he is a better man than we think. Same goes to the topics on gaza. He knows his points make him look embarassingly stupid and thats ok as long as the better arguments of himans get across

The US isn't for the little guy, both abroad as well as at home. Think of how _*the US middle-class's income has been flat in real terms for about thirty years, and how during that period, 1% of the US population sucked in 90% of the nation's wealth.

My God ... and I don't believe in God. Where are all of these grifter historians coming from? They leave out beginnings, middles and ends and accurate contexts, and reach conclusions that only make sense in the make bekieve order of their lies.
