Pietro Albini - How Ferrocene qualified the Rust Compiler 

Industries like automotive or aerospace require safety-critical software to be certified according to international standards, recommending the development with qualified tooling. Ferrocene is an open source distribution of Rust qualified for automotive and industrial use, bringing Rust to safety-critical industries. In this talk, I'll show what is needed to qualify a compiler toolchain, what challenges we encountered when qualifying Rust, and what this means for the Rust communities and ecosystems.
