Pigeons Nest Building Contest 

We went 100% natural in nest building this year. I gave up using artificial nest bedding and let the pigeons work to build their own nests from scratch. Some are hard working while others are far from it. Fanciers might remove this instinct from pigeons by just using artificial nest bedding and I clearly see this in some pigeon families.
I want to encourage them to keep this instinct and the ones that build great nests have better chances of reproducing since the eggs are better protected than in empty nest bowls.
