It takes years of experience to develop your loft to your liking and it really shows your personality and your passion for racing pigeon. It's functional and efficient design. Your birds are lucky to have you. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely Awesome, I love your set up, especially the mechanism you made to place the basket on to basket your birds before goin to the races, so you don't have to bend your back to the ground level to put the birds in the basket. Awesome. I wish you all the success in the races. My father used to hang a bottle in which he made few holes, with Eucalyptus oil inside the loft, worked great for their breathing, don't know if u do that or maybe you have something better that you use. Keep well n keep up the great work and the videos you upload, I Love it.
Hello Marcon, Thank you for your comment. The lost pigeon (our best!) is not back home. But we hope desperately he will return! Greetings, Jannie Brands.
Nice trapping system you have. I might have to cop that. just have to know the angle of the metal part and the measurements of the squares where the birds go in. thank you for sharing.
The metal part of the trapping system is width 11 centimeters and the height is 13 centimeters. The whole length is the length of the window. Greetings, Jannie Brands
Hello Kevin, the measurement of the grill the birds pas through is: 4,33 inches width and 4,92 inches height. (11 centimeters width and 12.5 centimeters height.). Greetings, Jannie Brands
Hello Phuong Le, We want to make a video about that topic in the future. We use pink dye (animal friendly paint) to confuse hawks, so they don't recognize the pigeon as pigeon. In order that hawks don't attack. We use paint that is also commonly used for marking pigs, cattle and sheep. It is called animal marking spray (it is sold in spray cans). Greetings, Jannie Brands.
@@AllAboutRacingPigeons I am hoping one day, there will be something that can make hawks stay away from pigeons for good….🤣🤣🤣…thank you…I let my two young birds out last week and got chased by a hawk. They never come back. I am learning….
Good morning!!! Thank you for your attention. I'm going to make a new loft, the measurements here for the space I'm going to use is 5 meters wide by 25 meters. For this reason, as I found the cocoons of your widowed pigeons to be very good and practical, I would like to make them in the same measurements. Thank you Romulus.
Hello Julio, we put red paint (special paint for animals) under the wings because we want to confuse bird of prey in order that they don't attack our pigeons. Greetings, Jannie.
