When i fished the Trail in the 1980's for 15 + years and have some 10 pounders hanging on my wall....If you want catch big fish USE BLACK WORMS WITH A FIRE TALE PUT A LOT OF HOLES IN THE WORM AND SOAK THE IN HEAVY SALT WATER FOR 48 HOURS MORE LESS.....Fish deep and slow and let them run with it before setting the hook and fish at night.....Thanks Shoe🇺🇸

Veterans Lake, I recognize that little lake. My husband and I use to take the kiddos swimming there when they felt the water was to cold at the National Creek. Question??? Have you ever heard of a large snake being spotted in that little lake? Back in about 1996 as we drove down to the boat ramp I noticed some large ripples expanding aboyt 20ft in length. I thought it was just my imagination. But when the kiddos were swimming near the boat ramp. Another lady were her children starting screaming get out of the lake get out!! And pointing toward where ya were fishing near the dam. I looked across the lake and there it was again, giant ripples like a huge snake swimming near the dam. Being an Okie we continue to swim as long as it didn’t look like those ripples were coming our way Ha ha. Glad I wasn’t the only one to see ii though.

Daniel, I happen to like that first package showed with the basket rack that was real tight together. I know it’s not a monster but I see a potential for a very unique looking mount with that one. Something was wrong with him because that wreck was just way too close, I think I would’ve taken that out. Come this fall if not next year he’s going to have a really wicked headgear, real gnarly, looking all snuggled up on each other.😮😮😮😮😮

Now I keep reading that the lespedeza is desirable as a natural worm control in livestock. It's been encouraged to have it on your property for the livestock.

Seeing those Black Pigs brought to mind when I was in Japan 2 weeks ago, some of the road signs were beware of warthogs ! I didn’t see any thank goodness, but when we got to our destination there was a Huntsman Spider 🕷️ hanging on the car window next to my left ! Thank goodness we didn’t see it until most of us were out of the car !

Looks like your hard work is paying off regarding the deer population and their good health on your properties. Sericia is a favorite of goats, they literally love it and wonderfully it works as an intestinal worm inhibitor.

Seeing the deer reminds me of when my Dad was at his sickest and he recounted a drive with my husband in the N Ga mtns and he encountered a "flock" of perhaps 15 deer. By the time the weekend was over with it had grown to a herd of about 100..................lol talk about tall fish tales..............He DID catch a marlin/sailfish (?) off the coast of Mexico one year with my bro in law. I took great pleasure that I had made arrangements with my bro in law to have it mounted and shipped COD to his residence in Ga at a tremendous cost as a rememberance. Joke of course, but he enjoyed the revelry and didn't miss a beat. He would have been a terrific improvisational comedian (running off script). He and I would have made a sensational white "Sanford and Daughter" team..............lol

I've never caught a fish out of that lake, but my son and grandson have. That one you caught was a pretty decent little fish, for sure. Daniel Oklahoma has a lot of neat places to go fishing 🎣 and swimming. There’s a lot of creeks that are nice to to go to swimming I remember a time I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle that lived in Tulsa they took us to a creek were when you walked out in to it you could see clearly the rocks it was beautiful!!

It’s great to fish the local lakes. I have couple near me in Western Ky that I would rather fish then the big lake at Ky Lake. It’s great to see y’all enjoying fishing together so much because you remind of me and my son. Although he lives to bass fish . I more of a Crappie finatic because I like to eat fish. I always enjoy the pig trapping videos. I’ve been hearing some of the wild pigs in Tn are working there way towards our area and I’m not looking forward to it. We’ve also seen more Blackbear sightings in western Ky recently. Looking forward to seeing y’all do another bass tournament video together!

I live in the burbs in NJ and I love me some wild pig trapping videos. 😂 Hitting that button to lower that cage would make me so happy 😂 I know I would yell “gotcha!” Every time. Lol Around here all my “gotchas” are for flies using my fly zapper or when stepping on bugs in my garage . 😂 That reel sounds awesome. (Coming from a non-fisherman)

Hey Daniel you and Houston should try Dropping Springs lake outside Okmulgee just south of Tulsa. It's called a trophy bass lake. I've caught 2lb hybrid Perch a 5 lb Crappie and a 5.5 lb Largemouth Bass out of it

Time to start filling your freezer with pork for when deer season opens. The hybrid you’re talking about is called a mean mouth bass, cross between small mouth and large mouth bass. World record was caught at OJ Ivie in Texas march 2021.
