You know, I kinda wish they would put more effort into voice work for Raichu, maybe making it say "chu" more often than it does.

Kantonian Raichu is one of my favorite pokemon of all time, so this mod is pretty cool to me. It would be cool if Raichu’s personality in this mod was similar to Lt. Surge’s Raichu from the anime, but it’s still a cool mod nonetheless

I unironically want Raichu in the next Smash game as an echo of Pikachu, we would finally have the full line

Always wanted Raichu in the game. I don’t play Pikachu nor Pichu but would definitely play a heavier version of them. Personally I wish there was more echo fighters or clones who mostly just change stats so that you have faster or slower versions of more characters.

Poor Raichu, always getting left out for his previous form. 🍌

My opinion is Pichu and Raichu should be alt skins for Pikachu similar to how Bowser Jr works. Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, Dedenne, and Pawmot could work as alt skins as well. By making Pichu an alt skin, it leaves room for another Pokemon fighter such as Mimikyu, Eevee, or Meowscarada.

Raichu's face needs a little adjusting. Mouth needs to be a bit wider which will also broaden his nose arch a bit. The forhead vibes are off. Head might need a smidge more flattening or widened, and to be shaped closer to Pika's head shape with similar neck definition. Right now it looks more like Raichu built like a Quagsire with a Pika face.

I mean... Thats basically whag the entire thing is between Pichu and Pikachu, their moves are pretty much the same but just have different effects, power, and knockback. So I can see why Raichu was made this way 😅

Possible updates when Pokemon wants this features. But plans on wait.

The increased hitboxes and hurtboxes, along with weight and stats, are enough to make Raichu more than an echo fighter and would have a much different feel. But it’s still a clone, and I think the mod needs just a slight bit more time in the oven. Pretty good overall though.

I think Raichu for smash should be closer to Lt. Surge's Raichu combat wise. I like the idea of Raichu being slower and bulky, but I would change up Raichu to be a bit more punch and kicking heavy, kind of like Lt. Surge's Raichu from the anime. Like giving Raichu thunder punch which I believe it can learn. Otherwise not bad, but I agree it leans into more of a skin swap. Basically like Ganon, but smaller.

Fun Fact there's a theory that Brawls Pikachu is actualy Melee's Pichu, because some of Pichu's moves were encorporated in Brawl's Pikachu. What Happened was the origanal Pickachu died and Pichu evolved into the new Pikachu. I think what would make since is you had a Mod that honored this theory. by having Pichu with a brand new move but then after we see Pickachu evolve into Rychu, Pichu evolves into Pikachu. the Newest Pikachu get's the previas move from Pichu and Rychu get's Pickachu's moves plus some new abilities of his own that perfect upon Pikachu. Finaly we get a whole new Pochu with new move sets. I like the idea of having a smash brothers where maybe you get new charecters by playing as certain charecters through some specialy challenge or something that results in that charecter under going a personal growth or progress that allows them to change into that charecter. Then as they complety change, they are removed from the Rostar and when they are unlocked again, you first have to play them with a whole new move set in the adventure story before you can unlock being able to play differant move sets for them.

Raichu should run faster than Pikachu to better reflect his stats from the Pokemon games; also, he should deal higher damage. To compensate for Raichu's increased speed and raw power, his combo game is weaker than Pikachu and he sport a larger hurtbox. In this way, Raichu's attributes are more akin to Captain Falcon (a hard hitting speed demon with a weak disadvantage state) instead of being the go to slower, but more powerful clone.

I think he should get the model and colors closer top what Raichu is in Pokemon Stadium 2/ Colosseum/ XD/Battle Rev. The proportions there made him look waaaaaay prettier than any other official 3d model or sprite
