A well deserved fish there in what looks like quite cold water 👏🏻 I’ve still not ventured out for the pike, but will do in the next few weeks as they get on the feed pre-spawning

Nice video, lovely setting. Funny I haven't fished for pike for 40 years, but last week I bought 4 wire traces with single hooks. I think that is the way forward.
Hi Martin, Apologies for the late reply and welcome back to the word of the Esox hunter. Please be patient with single hooks as they take a bit of time to get the timing right but the benefits for the fish far out way a bit of a dent to ones ego.

Never got into pike fishing, I left that to my dad and uncle norman " but I have to confess there is something about them that I admire" it's like the pre historic meets the future all in one " mind you I'm not suggesting any young car designers take me up on the challenge.😂
