The legend that is the Savage Gear Cannibal Shad has had a face-lift!
Everyone at some point in their lure fishing life has came across or used a cannibal Shad, a firm favourite of many including myself.
In this very short session I for out to test a few of the new colours that's just been released.

Hi Simon , do you add and extra weight to goby shad to get down a bit more in the water ? It seems to nose dive if you put weight at the front messes up the presentation, I’ve tried to put weight on the centre but I’m thinking none needed just let it sink naturally?

Hi Colin yes absolutely, the best thing I have found are the Savage Gear screw in Belly weights, they are 2 or 3g and help the bait sink more naturally

10-35 gr?? Damm that cannibal if its 15cm is 33gr alone + 12,5 gr jig head too much for rod

12.5cm, 20g lure and 12g jig head....

Hi, nice vid. From me: 12.5g on 4-8 foot it might by to muche(cold outside) . Second some times trie to present bite in the middle of Water not only jiging (You have 2 take when retrive) and last one pls do not hook bait on ring it will break. Regards!
