A very wet and windy outing!
Starting from the New Dungeon Ghyll hotel we headed for Pike of Blisco before going over South Top and Long Top. From there it was up to Bowfell. After dropping down and climbing back up to Esk Pike we decided the constant wind and rain would have made progression over Great End, Ill Crag, Broad Crag and Scafell Pike arduous at best so opted for a descent from Esk Hause, past Angle Tarn and back to the New Dungeon Ghyll. Still a great day out 👍 #trailrunningcouple

Awesome video, as always. Crikey, you were out in it there, looked grim. Good call changing the route. Pike o'Blisco can be a very, very confusing fell nav-wise. Thanks for filming, looked a very testing day out 👍👍

Thanks again, it was all good until the rain became too persistent along with the wind. Here for the week so decided better to finish the route another day! One of our better decisions 😂

Well done both. Its a great route when you can see it 😂 Respect for sticking with it to Esk Hause. "There's no such thing as bad weather..." Yeah, right! Great video again.

Haha, thank you. The weather did become ‘testing’ to say the least. At least we got to finish the route yesterday in much better weather!

Weather wise, it was as bad as it’s been for a while. Just didn’t let up when it started and the wind made it so much worse. Thank you 😊

Most of the week. Went out Tuesday (this video) and again today. The weather was so much better! Planning on being out tomorrow and Saturday too. Thanks 👍
