This is my monthly walking tour video of Seattle's Pike Place Market for August 2021 (filmed on August 15th). This narrated tour begins at around at a little before noon at the the south entrance of Post Alley by the Gum Wall. More vendors and performers are present during this month's tour compared to recent past months. However, while masks are not mandatory there's a sign at the main entrance stating that masks are recommended (do to the Delta variant).

I was at Pikes today and was telling my friend I wouldn’t be surprised if I ran into Loa Ocean, 😂 it was my first time in Seattle and pike’s place. Missed the viewpoint since we didn’t know our way around. I was walking around about the same time and barely missed you, bummer!

Was there Aug 1st through the 5th. Started every day at the market! It was my third visit to the city. I'll be back in Dec and will start those days the same way. I was in Forks just before staying near the market. Took the scenic route of 101 through to Tacoma for a night. Was absolutely starving when I spotted Hamma Hamma oysters. Which I probably would have missed if I hadn't seen your video! lol Awesome lunch!! I started watching out of just a fascination with the market, and wishing I was there more often, and wanting to show my family what it's like. Ya even got my hotel room in a couple of shots, they loved that. Missed ya, this time!

Also, don’t forget when you point out to the water from certain vantages from the Pike Place Market area, a lot of it is Elliott Bay, not puget sound. ✌️

My guy can you give me your recommendation on where I can get what you feel is the best papaya salad in Seattle area /shoreline, like I have to come from Bremerton so I’ll drive for the best.

Best papaya salad would be at Viengthong Lao/Thai Restaurant or the deli at Vientiane Lao Grocery Store. Both are in south Seattle, however.

Was thinking a couple days ago,"Mr. Dennis hasn't done a Pike place walkaround in awhile", seriously. Nah, let's don't talk about masks, already hear about that more than enough. Wonder if the secret garden is open? Good to see people out, but think I'd just get me a coffee and watch the trains go by at Broad St. Enjoy all the food you can Mr Dennis,we only go around once. If you're 18 or 88 the sands in the hour glass run out for all of us. Partake in every delicatsee you can.
