It's Aurora Ave in Seattle. I used to be a delivery driver in the area (from Aurora Ave all the way to Esplanade Ave, by the Sound. When I first arrived there I didn't knew it was a "business area". I saw a girl late night alone on the street and I thought she was waiting for her Uber. Thought it was dangerous for someone to be there alone late night. When I stopped at the sign, she smiled and waved at me and that made me feel like the most innocent person ever for not realizing what was going on. The next week I went to deliver a package and a local told me to not leave my van unlocked, for that was a bad neighborhood. I asked why, he told me just to look around when I'm making my deliveries. B1tch3s, homeless people, crackh34ds, thieves... That's both annoying and sad reality of Seattle life. These people suffer because they're empty. I try to ignore every time I had to make deliveries there, but you simply can't. When you see it with your eyes, you're just sad and sad.
@heloisebleriot8748 Yeah unfortunately that's me, but people end up like this because of what they choose to do with their life.. gave a homeless guy $3 onetime and I noticed a job tag on his bag I asked to see it he use to work for NASA
Hey Big City Bev...I lived in the Seattle area from 1985 until late 1997, the area from 152nd in what's considered Tukwila, (remember the Spruce and the Ben Carol hotels?) up to 216th by the Safeway is where they used to walk on the south end of Pacific Highway...is it the same or different now? maybe one night you can drive down that way?
I feel sorry for all these young women. I doubt that they do this kind of work out of conviction and passion, but that they are dragged into this mess by debts and drug addiction. Hopefully they will find a way out of it at some point.🙏
I’m glad someone is showing another side, lately S workers have been getting a lot of heat, at the end of the day everyone is just trying to survive in this world
Idk about that; but if that were true you realize they get the “heat” from men who aren’t S workers right? Usually married men, or men like ur pops 🤷🏽♀️
Used to live in Burien for a couple years in 2012. It looked like a lonely drive until the cool music seemed to give the loneliness meaning. When I was there I couldn't seem to meet new people and make new friends.... Seems the same everywhere. America is a lonely place. But we can make things better by caring for people we meet or encounter who may need urgent care. It was depressing to see the girl behind the dumpsters not knowing where to go. Never pass by someone like that... it's not easy to find help for people, but life tends to bring people help in time of duress...
The other day I paid in Renton, Washington $5.99 and 9/10ths basically $6 a gallon of super unleaded at a Shell station. At least now we have an ever expanding Link Light Rail or Tram that goes to the SeaTac International Airport and through downtown Seattle and continues north.
a bit of eye contact and a wave, she comes by your car window and tells you a 'price then she can hop in for a ride, you can do it in the car or go to a 'room etc.... i've literally never done it , but i've had girls offer it lol - the girl at 0:33 would really tempt me to take her somehwere , she's truly sexy lol again
@@jaguarnordestinoI'd explain more but I'm lazy lol. The roads out there are lightly used, and easy to maintain due to the natural foundation and immediate resources for repairs.
Those in charge don’t get any return on helping to cutdown prostitution. That’s why billions are spent overseas and not here. The government really doesn’t care. It’s an acceptable problem in their eyes.
@@laghaboutarfa8650 I do not think that most of these women enjoy what they do, waiting on the street naked, living in danger, being harassed by all sorts of psycho. I can think a single father or mother who can imagine his daughter is doing this.
Thank you for the video, distant and unknown friend. I'm from Azerbaijan, Baku city , and I don't watch your videos because of prostitutes. I'm just interested to see how you live, where you live, what you see every day. I have already begun to recognize some places in your town. According to your videos, I find with the Google Maps program those streets where you drove by car. And yet, you have a well-chosen and calm music. Thank you !
@@teymurmir-babaev1133 I'm doing well, had a long day and was sweating quite a lot! Do you have air conditioners? We mostly don't. Have a good day, fellow.
@@manoman0 Hello Switzerland! Of course, we also have air conditioners and fans in our houses, it is impossible to live without them in such heat. We drink a lot of sparkling water and beer. What is your temperature outside? We sometimes have +45 * C. Have a nice day friend!
I remember when that Krispy Kreme opened- people lined up for days and there were fist fights. To this day I have never tried one because of that.... Area has really gone to trash.
Yeah, this is a bit sickening how degenerate American cities have become. The democrats are merely speeding up the process of destroying the middle class and growing big government.
Aurora Avenue in Seattle is famous for this, it's ebbed & flowed for decades. In the 90s there was a concerted effort to crack down on it, and the ladies were rarely seen for a while -- and weren't dressed like these ones at ALL...they were far more haggard & desperate. When your city defunds the police not once but TWICE since its "summer of love" in 2020, enforcement priorities change. We'll see if it cycles again.
"Defund police" It would be nice if you guys had a clue about anything. In 2021 Seattle spent $360,680,564 on police. In 2024, the budget is $385,605,540 That is a $25 million increase over 3 years. That is a large budget for a small city of roughly 3/4 of a million people. MuH pOlIcE iS dEfUnDeD 🤦
@@nobodyimportant7804 2020 budget, $402 million. 2021, down to $361 million. 2022, down to $355 million. That's twice defunded. Furthermore, even before 2020 the SPD was losing veteran rank-and-file talent due to poor treatment by management & the city. In 2019 they had over 1200 officers...by 2022 that had shrunk to 954. Less police & its funding has definitely had an effect, it's clear.
