In Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 3 Deluxe, it is possible to duplicate bomb rocks from dirt mounds. This is done by whistling the Pikmin in the dirt mound just as the last bomb rock comes out and throwing another Pikmin in. It's surprisingly easy to do and you can get a lot of bomb rocks this way (dirt mounds normally only give you 3 bomb rocks before flattening themselves and becoming uninteractive). This video showcases the glitch in the Side Stories mission Looking for Louie, which is themed around bomb rocks and reinforced walls. It also incidentally shows some other features of this glitch: there's a limit on how many bomb rocks can be in the area at once (this limit is 20, though you see less bombs in the video because there are a few inside enemies elsewhere), and duplicating bomb rocks can confuse the game into thinking the mission is no longer possible to complete when it's still possible.
