Pikmin 4 - All Endings (Bad, Good, Secret) 

Well this time seems pretty good as Moss can lead and protect the Pikmin, and the Ancient Sirehound seems to be friendly (it’s walking behind and it’s eyes have turned blue) and seems to be an ally to moss and the Pikmin now, so they have that protection as well. But yeah in the past game it seems like you were leaving the Pikmin alone.

in every pikmin game you find them at near extinction, every tome you leave them they all immediately die

It even ends the same way, Louie continues to be a menace in both games

It had elements of all 3. Rebooting olimar story, rebooting pikmin 2's story of finishing, returning, finishing and "saving" louie, and rebooting pikmin 3 by saving olimar

This whole game is basically Pikmin 2²

pikmin 2 just drops you in the map and tells you to go get a billion million dollars until the fake ending where it gives you the objective of louie. while in pikmin 4 the progression is a lot more involved and story-event driven, with more objectives.

Ohhh, that's why. Those onions were both red for me so I was confused when I saw this video. Good to know.

Where are the white and purple onions? I have only left the gold bar but I don't want to farm purple pikmins for that

@@Nicolas-vz1kz You have to complete the 10 quest of the trial of the sage leaf every 5 level you get an onion

That does explain why it was a red and a white onion (I also had the purple and white onions)

I was thinking Olimars Shipwreck Tale was apart of the story mode I hate getting bad endings in a game And Pikmin 4 needs to be a complete game for me I never managed to beat or play Pikmin games Until 4

It has a lot of callbacks to the first game, down to the musical cues.

What's strange is you don't have 30 days like usually to recover the 30 parts you only have 15 but it's easy if you know what to do

@Awwsome0_0 Clear all areas 100% and complete all night missions (which would mean you're curing the leaflings too) You can also get platinum on all dandori challenges/battles but I wouldn't say that's necessary to get the full experience

Look, it's not the S.S. Dolphin's fault. It's never the Dolphin's fault. There's clearly some inexplicable higher power at play here; that, or it's somehow Louie's fault.

There are wild pikmin so perhaps other Pikmin remove them at some point

While I doubt this is the end of the franchise, as Nintendo has been using pikmin more in advertisements and this game has made bank. I hope this ends olimar story and we move onto something else like helping a colony of rescues rangers survive and colonize the planet

@TheFPSKingsGaming Oh, I didn't mean this comment as like the end of the franchise lol. Just, sad that my first playthrough of the journey is over! I know I can always replay lmao, but the first experience is special to me! Also, I do hope so as well. While I wouldn't mind Olimar existing, at the same time, I do want him to eventually get a break.

Now all that’s left is to platinum the Dandori challenges to actually be able to make use of Oatchi sprint lol

The canon event was him leaving returning for Pikmin 2. Him finding moss changed the canon event

Well it does matter; in the good ending he at least gets to keep the SS dolphin at the end of it all

Makes me think that they kept that part consistent between endings because they intend to follow up on it, be that a future game or DLC.

@@tintedpalette653 It was necessary because that section of the game is a flashback. He tells you the story after you rescue him, meaning he had to fail.

I mean in pikmin 1 olimar does fucking die if you don't get all the ship parts so it doesn't surprise me he nearly dies. He's nearly died in like every pikmin game. In 1 he gets turned into a pikmin. In 2 he nearly dies from bankruptcy. In 3 he nearly gets kidnapped and dies from the plasm wrath. In 4 he nearly gets permanently turned into a leafling. Hes just got the ultimate plot armour ig.

I mean it’s not THAT difficult, heck, I did it! It was the best mistake of my life. And I’m doing it with Pikmin 5! (Though I did do it with 2 Kirby games (star allies and forgotten land) and those didn’t come close to how fun doing this was, I mean, I am a diehard Pikmin fan, so sue me!)

i think this takes place after 3 because olimar says he's been in a lot of situations like this before if you say "let's chat!" 3 times. so it just seems like he explains things differently for new players. also at the start of the olimar's tale game mode, he says at the start that he'll simply utilize pikmin and talks as if he has used them before, and he already has the red onion following him by the start of the story. the only "what's this?" he does is about flarlic, which makes sense since we do not see it in any other pikmin game. i think they called it pikmin 4 cus it's the fourth adventure. it's just a bit confusing for some reason

It's the ending of you rescue all the castaways, and beat olimars shipwreck tale. You can make it more secret by finishing the sage leaf challanges

When I got the secret ending it was a blue pikmin, not red. I believe it's random which of the 3 look behind or something else entirely

The other difference is that Olimar is aware of Moss's inability to leave PNF-404 in the good ending, it's what led him to go back to the planet and inevitably crash again.

Anyone who even knows about those onions probably know for sure that there's no difference in the secret ending whether or not you have them

It changes just a little bit, both onions are random color, but the main onion ships has all colors, including purple and white, just a little detail

Myth busted, I have the onions and I got rock and purple, pretty sure they're randomized if you have all the onions.

Yeah they are randomized but its possible to get 2 of the same collour so its possible to get 2 yellows. If someone did that explains the rumor of 2 golden onions lol
