I am happy with the quality of this run but I'm extremely surprised by how much lower it's able to go. I remember thinking 31 was the limit when I had a 35.
I don't know how much lower this could go, and I also don't know if I will be the next one to lower it. As I often do, I would like to focus my attention on P1 but will probably come back if there are major developments.
Used JHawk's route for SST and BA, in BA Winston's suggestions to use a go here at the start. I also go for 1 mitite kill for a small chance of spicy spray which I would use to speed up the tunnel in HH (and not need to flower the pikmin allowing me to fully use JHawk's bag area reroute, which in my opinion is slower due to not having flowers unless you get the spicy. Winston also suggested to charge before collecting the pikmin in HH which saves a couple of seconds.
SS and HH were my routes.
My worst split was BA, I had lots of small mistakes and that intro throw onto the gate is much cleaner in practice, I guess I just panicked when the lock on took effect. RC completed before the jet, therefore trying to get a spicy lost no time. I also did not like the Gildemander fight in HH which has consistently been so much faster so that I could be deep in the bag section at first bell instead of just on the fan.
The freezy blowhog nipped the RTB in HH but then turned away, so I should have been able to correct it like I did just fine but for some reason the last pikmin to pick it up went idle, and then refused to grab it which is weird pikmin 4 behaviour I'm not familiar with. I should have thrown more but then I'd have less for the MAL fight, which I thought was not optimal. After that I grabbed it and got it at max speed, but in total the freeze cost me up to 10s.
