When Regine was young she was the host and Regine was a contestant back when Regine was 14 years old I think, then Regine won and help Her Rise in the music Industry And Regine followed what she did and helped other aspiring artist aswell like Sarah G, Angeline and Jona before and so on and on...

And i hate myself for not knowing that the Pilita Corales actually sounded that way!!!! 😭😭😭😭 Pilita is a very wonderful person 💖 whenever i see her it reminds me of my loving grandma. Well since You mentioned Regine i wanna let you know that collboraions and live duets are so much enjoy here so Ms. Pilita had a duet with Regine back in 2009 and they nailed Beyonce's Single Ladies where Ms. Pilita showed her legs!!!! 😃 You may be the first reactor to check on that.

She is known as “the little girl with golden voice”. She hosted one of Philippines long running musical variety show “Superstar”. I grew up listening Miss Pilita Corales. She is the best during her time and still is popular now. She still is one of the best singers . Katrina reminds me of her . The only comparison with Pilots is Katrina Velarde!

pilita is a great comedianne, like her bestie elizabeth ramsey, jaya’s mom. other than tagalog, they both speak the other dialect visaya because they hailed from the same hometown. other great pinay singers dulce & kz tandingan share the same background. pilita has a signature move in singing - bending backwards with one arm up. when younger generations of singers in our country mimic this, the audience would right way say that it’s pilita corrales being depicted in their acts.

Her first husband was Blanco also of Spanish decent as well as the father of her son who was a matinee idol of the 60s was also of Spanish decent. She was for a long time married to a national from Paraguay. So Spanish roots run deep with Pilita. Mamita is Spanish for grandmother.

Ah Pillita! Seen her in her prime in so many TV guesting during my younger years. I’m 62 years old so that means I was around 8 years when I discovered her. Singers and showbiz personalities then were studded with western looking mestizos and Pilita was no different. Much more purer blood mix then and so many of them during that era. Had a blast always hearing her sing and she was so beautiful and in her prime then. Always been my ageless favorite and she never changed except that her voice is more fuller now anc of course age caught up.
