After 20 years of not believing and a unappreciation to christain rock, i believe and my appreciation for this music is incredible it has moved me in the darkest hours.
It is a Christian song. It talking about this individuals struggle to let go of the life she is living. At the end she decides God is the only way. If you don't agree, look up the band. They are unapologetic about their faith and say as much about this song. God bless you all and I'm glad the Word was shown to you all. Even if you aren't able to see it, but you will eventually.
Sadly it's due to them having a short period together performing. I've heard why they quit performing and it's sad to hear but they put the safety of their family as the #1. They really did have a handful of songs that were good enough to be mainstream in a very short period

I love this song. it makes me feel better, because I know Jesus has this kind of love for me and all my peers. I grip onto the hope that I have, because I have times where I don't feel like there is any hope at all. I keep fighting for Jesus is the one who gives me hope.
Why can not people just understand that to reach many lost souls thirsty and the gospel is an important tool for this? And the distinct musical style for every taste. It will bring utopia to think that the church members living in the madness out there with traditional hymns. I even hear it until today but also is the Rock (gospel course) that packs the soundtrack of my life.
You're right, that is stupid to think that Christians haven't hated anyone. I'm a christian, I've hated people. That doesn't mean I'm not a Christian, it means I'm human. I have grown up in a Christian home, but I didn't always think that Christ was the answer to my problems either. I got into the porn, around the drugs, and into trouble for a few years. It only made me realize that I wanted more than that. Christians aren't perfect, be we have a direct connection to the one who is. Jesus Christ

Love Pillar! I have all of their songs. Old Pillar was awesome, but new Pillar is good too. As long as Rob is still in the band it's good. But I will miss Lester as the drummer. He was really good

Well, they are a Christian band, the song is about getting people into church, and the lead singer is a Christian Pastor. And no, that shouldn't stop you from listening to good music. In fact, most good music are Christian rock bands, ie, (aside from Pillar), Demon Hunter, P.O.D., Nine Lashes, RED, ect.
in different ways....i listen to this song...and it could be a very stubburn loved one, and that you will do whatever it takes to crack their shell so they can shine as a person, but at the same time i can see the christian roots in the lyrics.....why fight over great music....listen, love, and find your own meaning in all songs you listen to!

@MrRichielou thts great, music and guitar has been a passion of mine since 7th grade and im a junior in highschool now. thaks to God im lead guitar in a contemp christian (if thats what you wanna call it but were somewhat original with our sound and instead of sticking to one genre we play whats in our hearts) band so ive had a great motivation and good amount of time to work on getting better

guys i just want to point out christianity is both a relationship through christ and a religon religion is describing that relationship through christ and it suprises me how many people are ignorant to that if you are a true christian you will up hold that name and serve that name cause christianity litterally means little christ so dont spend time arguing weather wich one is right if your a true christian you will spend time serving the lord and saving the lost
I love this song. At first, I thought it was simply about a relationship, until I reached the end of the video.. it turns out, it's the relationship with God. And every time I listen to the song again, I see the power in every piece of lyric. This music is not only badass, but it speaks to the heart. I love it. The glory goes to God! =D
