I live in Sanford NC and the hurricane is headed straight for us. We are scared and are hoping for the best but would appreciate all of your guys prayers and support.
Finally a good comment. I'm with you, I hope everyone survives this hurricane. Also I hope you all in Houston recover and get your lives on track soon.
June uhm excuse me!? Our state is as good as any other state. Besides, this state is pretty calm (for the most part) that’s why you think that because you don’t hear much about us.
Nikki Brookhart-Sproul Even if he a moron, he still didn't have anything to do with it. Why people blaming him for this. I don't know if you believe in God or not and it's not my business either way, but that gray headed man in the white house is not God. I'm no fan of his myself, but we can't blame him for everything, especially Florence.
100% agree!! but nope, turns out he's a NOAA pilot, so he does this not like it is his job, but because - literally - it is his job. new cnn headline: respectable professional expert pilot does the thing our tax dollars were set aside to compensate him for.
It's baffling how people are worried for their lives because a category 4 hurricane is headed for them yet all people can think about is politics and how this is "fake news". Really shows you how much empathy some Americans have.
@@CadillacJak I know I know I'm sorry. I know most people don't think that way it's just that it pissed me off so much seeing these comments that I worded it like that.
I don't understand why people are involving Trump and 9/11 into this. The president and 9/11 don't have anything to do with what Mother Nature is about to spur out. People better be praying to God and hope they survive through this.
This thing will be category 12 by the time it hits. It will rip the continental plate right out of the Earth and launch it into space. *grabs the popcorn*
Hey guys, come to the west coast. You'll be safe here! Also, I'm praying for all you guys that are going to be /is in the middle of the hurricane that you're still alive and nothing happens to you guys. Please be safe and don't be frightened of this because you'll end up more scared and it wont end well.. get enough resources and pray that you're okay! Please be safe
Lizzy Rogerz Thank you! I am in South Carolina and from The West Coast. We are staying in a brick home, about 20 miles from the coast. I am praying we get to go back West soon. Thanks for your prayers!
Everyone wish me luck I live in Wilmington NC like right on the beaches and we will not have power for a weeks, even months in some areas and infrastructure will be majorly damaged due to the 150 mph winds 🙏
@@murabito4699 Sorry. Elect better local politicians in the future who will not withhold the federal aid that Pres Trump did send, just to make the president look bad, and then lie about it.
Guys this is serious we need to pack up I live in the east I'm fckn scared af please pray for me I'm so scared I'm only 9 Edit: Thank u guys so much for ur kindness and caring I got a flood in NC but I'm alive I'm glad people actually care about others and not themselves some people need a good reward for that thank you guys so much. This is His mom I'm glad u guys were praying for him but sadly he don't make it all those memories we had together I'm glad u guys cared for my baby I'm glad you guys were trying too help you people are great.
Yeah that was journalist Brian Williams who got canned for fabricating a story about him being in a helicopter and eyewitness account - disproved later
@@ypraisethesun4431 Haha guess the next move is to avoid eastern states altogether. But seeing how this weather is I wouldn't be surprised if a hurricane formed in the middle of the US just to spite us 😓
I live in the lower part of Virginia next to North Carolina let's hope it doesn't come this way and let's hope it dose not kill anyone btw it's foggy af outside
I'M FROM BELOW MOREHEAD CITY N.C. IN A TOWN CALLED NEWPORT... PRAY FOR US ITS SAD ... THIS CATEGORY FOUR WILL PROBABLY RIP EVERYTHING DOWN I WORKED HARD FOR... MY HOME THAT I MOVED HERE AND BOUGHT AND OWN FROM MY MARRIAGE... AND PROBABLY GINA BE GONE NOW... I'VE BEEN A GROWN MAN CRYING AND CRYING WORRIED FOR MY WIFE MY DOG AND MY GREAT NEIGHBORS I HOPE WILL BE OK..😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😞😞😞😞
I know the feeling. I'm down river from you in New Bern. There's no shame in crying. Me & my husband did it last night after my daughter went to bed. She's only 6 & knows a storm is coming. But of course we haven't told her our home is going to be under water. It's fucking heart breaking.
@@KP-vg3zn hope the best for you and your family we packed our clothes and valuables and went to Jersey till its over got here 2 o'clock this morning. I hate this for everyone.
Living in Puerto Rico I hope and pray you do not suffer, and if possible please just get OUT of the area of impact. Believe me this is not something easy for anyone to go through...
Thanks for taking your time and attention on the story. That's the Anderson I will always remember and respect. Please guys, any of you in hamr's way tomorrow is the day for evacuate. I95 and all other evacuation routes will be pack full on Wednesday. Please remember to pack at least 1 week of clothing for each family member, take out some cash from the ATM's and full your gas tank. God Bless you all, and hoping always the best.
Trump has already accepted NC Governor's request for a Federal Emergency and preparing for their needs. I'm not a political guy, but we need to realize we are being divided for a reason. We should refuse to be divided,.
Honestly, if you are in the projected path of this storm and have somewhere far enough to evacuate to, you should. Not just for the storm itself, but the second part of the misery sets in after the storm passes. Property damage, no electricity = no AC in the summer, and gas and food shortages. Be safe all.
@@MitchJustChill I'm guessing, if you look at the path only a part of maryland is going to be impacted. Not majorly but just like rainy days. All I'm having right now is rain. Was hoping to get hit
I vote you find another storm aviator for your next report. This guy did not add much to the discussion. A guy who flies thru a Cat 5 storm should not be boring!!
Why are people blaming Trump for this? I know Trump can be blamed for a lot crazy things he have done, but he's not responsible for Florence. Come on people you can't blame him for something nature is responsible for.
Kyuss Qotsa WOW,I see how trump supporters can’t make other insult words besides using the word “Libtard”. That’s how most of them use that word when you still follow a false cult of trump’s.
People Carolina talked sh!t about people in Puerto Rico before and after Maria. A man even said, that he wasn't concerned about Puerto Rico. Well, is time for them to feel the pain. Nope, i'm not concerned about the man who said he wasn't concerned about Puerto Rico.
No. FUCK NO. I live in Puerto Rico and I do not wish anyone what I had (we had) been through. I do not care what they said about my country or my people. I don't care. This shit is traumatizing af. I still remember when I had to walk more than 3 hours to get some food and when I arrived the store was closed. I literally fall apart at that moment, just wanted to kill myself. And the worst thing is that you could actually see people dying in front of your eyes and you can't do anything about it. You don't have the food they need, you don't have the medicine they need, you don't have shit. You're useless. _Man, my point is that I wish the best for you guys. No one deserves this shit. Please take care._
Looking at the eye when it shows the satellite view makes me feel so uncomfortable. I feel terrified. Prayers going out to the Carolinas and the surrounding areas!
I remember Hurricane Hugo . Was in the car on hwy 64 when the radio said The Eye of Hurricane Fran is now over Raleigh NC. The only reason I was remotely in a car in the hurricane was over my first son, Montana. He was a baby and we needed water for his formula. I had not long winged him off of me. He needed water for back up. It was so stupid. But I was young and found out I am a bad mamma_jamma behind the wheel! We drove over fallen trees, around fallen trees and dodged falling trees. By far the scariest stuff I've ever been through but dammit he got his water! When we were safe and made it through the storm, all my ex boyfriend and I could do was hug each other. No words were spoken, we knew we had just when through some major sh....I prayed the whole time I was driving and double time when he was behind the wheel because I did not trust his driving at all...shewwww...
CNN is talking about news? It's like a blast from the past! Good work, Mr. Cooper and CNN! Thank you, Commander Kibbey, and thank you to the many individuals that make your mission possible!
Harvey survivor here. My advice: GET OUT! Especially if you have young kids or elderly. It's not worth the "what if?" Please, don't risk it. Looking back, we should have evacuated. We were lucky.
